Chapter 11

Irene

We are already at the parking lot of Bahay Kalinga. I'm outside the car already, I'm just waiting for Borgy to get out after he parked the car.

"Let's go inside tita?" He asked, I nodded at him. I don't know why I feel nervous and excited at the same time.

When we entered I saw the young boy who assisted us last Sunday.

Who's his name again? Josh?

I was about to call him but Borgy preceeded me.

"Excuse me?" He called the boy's attention, he was surprised to see us, it was so evident on his face.

"Po? Ako po?" The young boy answered, still surprised by our presence.

"Yes, can I ask?" Borgy said, he took his glasses off and looked at Josh.

"M-Mr. Borgy Manotoc? Mrs. Irene Araneta?" He exclaimed, he was shocked.

"Hi, we're looking for Isabelle Dy?" I asked him.

"S-si Isabelle po? Sandali po puntahan ko, upo po muna kayo" He told us and immediately left.

Josh

Nagulat ako nung nakita ko si Ms. Irene at sir Borgy Manotoc, siguro nga pinayagan ni sister si Isabelle na pumunta sa Manila kasi andito sila e tapos hinahanap din nila si Isabelle.

"Isabelle!" I yelled, trying to call her attention, pumasok na agad ako sa kwarto nila at nakita ko itong nag-aayos.

"Oh ano?!" She replied, irritated.

"Bakla ayusin mo mukha mo, nandiyan sina ma'am Irene at sir Borgy!" I informed her, kita sa mukha niya ang pagka-mangha.

Baklang 'to, kala mo naman hindi niya ineexpect.

"Andiyan na sila?" She asked, surprisingly.

Isabelle

They are already here? Oh my god, why so early naman, buti nalang nakaligo na ako at nagbihis.

"Hi!" I heard someone behind Josh, when I look at who's behind Josh, it's tita Irene.

"Tita, Hi po!" I exclaimed, I tried my best to not look as if I'm shocked to see them this early pero gulat talaga ako, lumapit siya saakin at yinakap ako.

"Are you ready na?" tanong niya at yinakap ako pagkatapos.

Ack, mother figure!

"Ah opo, I'm ready na po, magsusuklay nalang po." I replied, I smiled at her awkwardly, it's just so awkward for me to stand there in front of her tapos andun sila Josh.

"You're so pretty, sweetheart." Tita Irene said, sweetly.

"Thank you tita, likewise." I complimented her too, there's a man behind her, I know him of course, Senator Imee Marcos's first born, Borgy Manotoc.

"By the way, belle. This is Borgy, my nephew. Borgy this is Belle." She introduced, I looked at Mr. Manotoc and give her a friendly smile.

"Hi Isabelle!" He said and smiled at me, he offered his hand for a hand shake at agad ko namang tinanggap ito.

"Hello po, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, Isabelle."

"Where's Sister Anabelle and Sister Theressa? I'll talk to them na." Tita Irene asked, I looked at Josh para makisuyo ito, para naman makapaghanda na din ako.
