Chapter 19

Isabelle

After we ate our lunch, we went back to the music gymnasium,nwe started practicing again, after hours of practicing we finally adjourned.

Tita Irene and I are now heading back to Forbes, I suddenly fell asleep the whole trip back to their house.

I woke up when someone caressed my face and when I opened my eyes, we were already in front of the house.

"Sorry Tita, I fell asleep." I apologized sincerely but I'm really tired and I really just want to rest.

"It's okay dear, tired?" she asked me full of care in her voice.

"A little po, pero okay lang po ako." I replied and give her a reassuring smile.

"Okay, continue to rest inside nalang okay?" Tita Irene told me, tumango naman ako.

"Tita, can I just go directly to the guest room? I'll just sleep nalang po." I asked her, she looked at me hesitantly.

"You're not going to eat?" tanong niya saakin, umiling ako at sumagot bago pa man kami lumabas sa kotse.

"Uh, hindi na po, hindi naman po ako nagugutom." I replied and smiled at her, she nodded at lumabas din kam

"Okay, I'll prepare you a food nalang then I'll be putting it inside your room. Sa may lamesa tatakpan ko nalang, incase you feel hungry, okay?" sabi niya, ngumiti lang ako.

"She's so caring, lucky you Samantha." I said in my mind.

"Okay po."

"Okay let's go inside na." She invited me, she held my hand as we entered the house and the househelpers greeted us, I think tito Greggy isn't home yet.

"Tita, I'll go to the room na po.." I muttered.

"Okay sweetie, rest well." She said and she kissed my forehead, I went straight to the guest room and change my clothes.

After I changed, I immediately lay on the bed and thankfully I did slept quickly.

Irene

I'm currently in the kitchen preparing our food, Greggy said he's on his way home. Isabelle is in her room, resting.

I know she didn't sleep well last night because her eyes looked tired, after I prepare the food, Greggy arrived already.

"Hi hon!" I exclaimed and walked towards him to give him hugs and kisses.

"Hello there, honey!" he replied and kissed me back.

"You're just in time, kain na tayo?" I invited him joyously, I also helped him to take off his coat.

"Okay, let's go!" He said as he held my waist, we head our way to the kitchen.

"Where's Isabelle?" He asked.

"Oh she's resting, hon. I think she didn't sleep well last night and she was tired with the practice kanina." I replied while putting foods on his plate, tumingin siya saakin.

"I see, so she won't be eating dinner?" he asked again.

"I'll bring her food to her room later. Let her rest." I told him.

"Baka kasi pinagod mo, hun." He said and laugh, I looked at him raising my eyebrows.

"No way, andami lang talaga naming ginawa doon. Supposedly, she's going to observe lang but she volunteered to play the piano and when the pianist arrived, she insisted she'll practice na din so I let her." I explained while we were eating.

"She knows how to play piano?" He asked me.

"Yes, I was shocked too when she volunteered and when she started to play, you would think that she's a professional pianist." I proudly told him.

"Parang ikaw lang." He told me and he smiled, I just smiled at him.

We continued to eat while catching up and after that, I let the househelpers clean the table. Greggy said he will go to our room already so he could change, I'm now preparing the food that I'll be bringing in the guest room.

Nung natapos na ako, agad akong tumungo sa guest room kung saan natutulog si Isabelle, lumapit ako sakanya at hinalikan ang nuo neto.

"I'm really hoping that you're my Celestine, please don't break my heart." I said and my tears were already cascading, I kissed her forehead once again and I left immediately.

Pumunta ako sa kwarto kung saan napakaraming memorya ang nandodoon.

Celestine's room..

"I miss you so much, mommy's angel." I said softly in the air.

"Please comeback. Why do you have to hurt mama like this?" I added, I opened the cabinet where the box that has my letters for her is inside.

I decided to write a letter for her because it's been awhile since I wrote a letter for her, I'm always writing a letter for her because in that way, it can lessen the pain I'm feeling.

Celestine my love,

It's mommy again, anak. I don't know if I really found you already but I hope so. Mommy is already hurting like hell, anak. Please come back to me, I miss you so much my precious gem, I hope that I will still get the chance to be with you and have bond with you, things that we should have been doing today but we cannot. I'm still really hoping that one day we'll be doing the things we didn't have the chance to do now. Mommy will spoil you so much and as you grew older without me beside you, I hope that when we crossed paths again, you find it in your heart to still accept me as your mama. I hope that you'll let me explain everything to you so you could understand. You're already 16 now, sweetie? How time flies so fast, I'm looking forward to see you before you turn 18. I'll give you the best birthday you'll ever experience in your whole existence. My Celestine, do remember always that mommy loves you more than life could ever give

I can't help but shed a tear while writing a letter for her, I put it in the box and put it back in the cabinet, when suddenly, someone knocked on the door.

I

was in the midst of my sleep when I felt thirsty so it woke me up, I stood up and I was surprised to see a food with milk and water on the table. Oh, tita Irene really prepared me some food, I drank the water and I got out of the room to fill the glass in the kitchen.

When I saw a door that was quite open, I went to see it, when I was already near, I suddenly heard sobs. When I peek inside, it was tita Irene,

She's the one sobbing?

She's holding a small box and she's carrying it and putting it inside the cabinet.

I knocked on the door, I know she was surprised with my presence, when she looked at me, her eyes were swollen and her tears are falling so I immediately went inside and hug her tight, she sobbed an hugged me back.
