𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗴𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮

I'm in my office, ready to go home when I saw my employees watching a video that made me curious.

"What's that?" I asked curiously.

"A-ah sir, t-tignan mo po.." my employee said as she handed me the cellphone.

"Is this Irene?" I asked, seriously.

"Opo, inatake daw po si Madam kanina ng mga tao sa may mall sa QC." She replied.

"Damn it!" I cursed as I handed her the phone and went outside immediately.

I saw how a man grabbed my wife's arms, how could he do that? Hindi ko nga mapagbuhatan ng kamay ang asawa ko, tapos siya yung gagawa. Gago!

I dialed my private investigator's number, gusto kong magbayad ang may gawa nun sa asawa ko.

"Sir Greggy?" said from the other line.

"I want you to investigate someone, I'll send the image later. Once you find him, call me immediately. I want you to move as soon as possible." I ordered seriously while driving.

"Okay sir.." He said as I ended the call, I've been so busy to process the files para maipakulong ko si Mr. Martinez. But I won't let that man who grabbed my wife's arms, escaped what he just did earlier. I drove as fast as I can so I could check my wife.

When I reached our house, I immediately get out of my car and went inside the house.

"Hun? Irene?.." I exclaim as soon as I enter our house.

"manang, si Irene?" I asked the maid.

"Nasa taas po, sir." She replied as I nodded, I hurriedly went upstairs and went directly to our room. I saw my wife and my daughter sitting in our bed leaning their back on the bed's headboard.

"Oh hi, hon." Irene stood up as she greeted me with a kiss on my lips.

"Hi dad!" Celestine said as she kissed my cheeks.

"We need to talk, all of us." I said, seriously.

"Why? What happened?" Irene asked, curiously.

"I saw the video earlier, why didn't you tell me about that?" I asked, trying to not freak-out.

"What video?" She asked again.

"You were attacked earlier, Irene, you know how dangerous it is. You should've told me so I could be with you!" I said loudly, my wife didn't replied, she just bowed her head, I know she's crying already. I pulled her carefully for a hug.

"I'm sorry, hindi ko lang talaga mapapatawad ang sarili ko kung may nangyaring masama sayo." I uttered as I kissed her forehead.

"Nasaktan ka ba? I saw a man grabbed your arms so hard." I asked, caressing her face.

"Nasugatan lang ng kunti but I'm okay." She replied which made me more angry.

Hindi ko hahayaang makatakas ang lalaking yun sa ginawa niya. Mali siya ng kinakalaban.

I just closed my eyes as I gesture her to come near me so I could hug her I planted soft kisses on her forehead a couple of times.

"I'm okay, our daughter saved me." Irene uttered as she looked back and motioned Celestine to come, "my brave girl..." she said softly as she kissed Celestine's forehead.
