I get out of my condo and waited for a cab. Hindi naman matagal yung paghintay ko kasi may dumaan agad.
Nakarating din ako agad sa mall, dito ako bibili ng pangregalo sa UP Town Mall. Pumasok ako agad sa mall. At dahil may ipon naman ako at meron din akong allowance every month dahil sa scholarship ko, kaya kong bumili ng mamahaling regalo ngayon para kay tita Irene.
The money that I receive every month is 40,000 pesos. Sila na din yung nagbabayad sa tuition fee ko. The 40,000 is for my daily allowance and for school expenses. I still have 37,500 pesos because I spend 2,500 for my groceries and for my baon for last week.
Meron din akong ipon at nakuha ko yun sa pagsali sa mga singing contest noon at yung iba naman ay galing sa pagsali ko sa MTAP, Quiz Bee and other school activities na hindi ko na nagastos dahil wala namang akong kailangang bilhin. My money is in my atm, doon din idenederetso yung scholarship allowance ko, hindi ko alam kung magkano yung pera dun because I never checked it.
I want to buy something special and memorable gift for tita Irene because she deserves it.
I enter the jewellery store and I'm examining the bracelets and necklaces. Hm, they're all beautiful I can't decide.
"Um hi, can I please see this?" I asked the clerk.
"Right away, ma'am." She replied and took the necklace.
It's exquisite, I'm sure tita Irene will like this. Its a gold necklace with a diamond pendant on it. I get myself ready because I know its expensive.
"How much is this?" I asked while still looking at the necklace.
"105,259 pesos ma'am." The clerk said.
"Dang." I whispered
"Um okay, can you please swipe my card and see my remaining balance?" I asked a favor.
