Long Lost Daughter

Chapter 71

Today is the thanksgiving day for Celestine. All her friends, relatives, love ones, will attend the party at Okada Manila.

Celestine was able to wake up early since she rested early last night, she also took a bath and ready her things because they will be leaving their house early and will proceed to Makati, Celestine has already invited Liam and he gladly accepted her invitation.

After they ate their breakfast they went to Makati right away, Celestine will be getting ready too so they need to go early.

When they arrived Celestine dashed inside the house because it's been one week since she last saw her grandmother, she was surprised because her kuyas and all their family members are already there.

"Tata!" Mia shouted as soon as she saw her tita Celestine entered the house.

Celestine widely smile as she carefully run towards her niece for a sweet hug. After she hug Mia, she went to her grandmother as she also hug her.

"You look so ethereal my apo, you don't need make-up na!" Imelda said, complimenting her granddaughter's beauty.

"Aw that's so sweet of you mama Meldy, thank you. Saan pa ba ako magmamana diba?" Celestine replied as she softly laugh.

"Where's your mom?" Imelda asked Celestine, Celestine looked back and pointed her finger to her mom who just entered the house.

"I'm here, miss me mom?" Irene jokingly mouthed, Imelda sweetly smile as she opened her arms, inviting her daughter for a hug. Irene kissed her mom's cheeks and Greggy did that as well.

"Where's my beautiful and favorite niece? She didn't greet me yet!" Imee shouted while still in the stairs going down.

Celestine laugh, "Present ma'am!" she exclaim, Imee pouted as she opened her arms for a hug, Celestine run off to her aunt and give her a hug.

Irene and Greggy also give Imee and the other family members a cheek to cheek kiss.

"Did you invite your friends already, tine?" Mike asked looking at his cousin.

"Ah yes kuya." Celestine replied as she form a smile to her kuya Michael.

"Baka may manliligaw ha, remember we're all present." Borgy warned, intently looking at Celestine.

Celestine faked-ly choke when she heard her Kuya Borgy uttered those words. She became to overthink about what will her family would look like if they saw Liam later. She hope that her family doesn't remember him.

"Dapat pala hindi ko na siya ininvite!" Celestine told herself as she bit her lower lip.

They were talking about different topics, Bong, Greggy and the boys are talking about manly things. Cara, Irene, Imee and Imelda were talking about new bags and other things. While Celestine and Mia were playing.

Celestine think of some kalokohan to do to her family again.

"Y'll are serious with your talks ha." Celestine whispered and laugh teasingly.

"Mga, ma'am, sir, ready na po yung pagkain, kain na po kayo.." the maid announced.

"Right timing! Fate is on my side, Lol!" Celestine said to herself as she chuckled.

"Okay kids, let's go. Mia later ulit kayo magplay ni tata." Imee told her granddaughter as she helped her to stand up.

"Let's go Mia, let's eat first.." Celestine told her niece as she held her hand, they're all now in the dining area, eating. Celestine is sitting between her Tita Imee and her mom, as usual.
