Long Lost Daughter

Chapter 67

While Celestine was on her way home she received a message from her mother.

From: Mommy

Love, your mama Meldy said we'll have family dinner in Makati, be there ha, love you!

To: Mommy

okay, I'm on my way see you, I love you!

After she send that to her mom, she told the driver to make a u-turn and go to Makati, when Celestine arrived at Makati, in her grandmother's house, she entered the house immediately.

"CONGRATS!"

Celestine froze as she caress her chest, because she was totally shock and didn't expect this, Imelda went to her granddaughter as she hug her tightly.

"Relax okay? Don't expect too much please.." Celestine said, looking at her family.

"Sure akong panalo kana, tine!" Imee told her niece.

"And win or lose, atleast you did your best and you made us proud." Irene uttered as she hug her daughter.

"That's right, but I really think you're going to win!" Borgy exclaimed.

"Yes tine, your answers kanina are so powerful!" Cara added.

"Thanks kuya & ate!" Celestine replied.

"Let's go, the food is ready!" Imelda announced as they all went to the dining room, they're all in the dining area already, sitting and started eating.

"How's the debate? Kinabahan kaba apo?" Imelda asked while looking at Celestine.

"I felt nervous, a little, mama." Celestine replied as she smiled.

"Mama Meldy, did you know. Celestine has suitors!" Borgy exclaimed that made Celestine choked.

Imelda's eyes widened, "And who's that boy?" She asked.

Celestine glared at her kuya Borgy, "Oh come on, Abu, I don't have okay? Kuya Borgy is just teasing me because of the placards earlier." she justify as she rolled her eyes to Borgy.

Imee laugh softly, "stop that, by the way tine. You want to come with me tomorrow?" She asked, Irene looked at her sister.

"Where tita?" Celestine asked as she looked to her tita Imee.

"I'll be going to Quezon City, I'm invited to be their spokesperson." Imee replied.

"A-ah no problem with me, tita. Mom, can I go?" Celestine asked as everyone looked at Irene.

"U-umh o-okay sure, no problem.." Irene replied and smiled lightly, Irene just looked down and continue eating.

"I'll fetch you nalang tomorrow sweetie.." Imee informed her niece as she continued eating, Celestine just nodded and continue to eat also.

After they eat, Celestine and Irene decided to go home. When they arrived they went directly to their rooms after exchanging their goodnight hugs and kisses.

Morning came..

Irene is a little upset because she has plans today with Celestine but they can't do it because her Manang Imee invited Celestine first to go with her.

Irene is in the kitchen preparing for their breakfast, her two loves are still asleep. Right after Irene finished preparing, she saw her spouse and her daughter heading their way in the kitchen, so she abruptly smile while watching her mag-ama.
