Zia

Zia was currently in Ian's vehicle, even though she had her own car now he still insisted on driving her to and from work. It didn't bother her, she liked spending extra time with her boss. and it was beyond obvious he felt the same way. Zia started working for Mr. Smith six and a half months ago, January, and within those months the two of them have spent a good chunk of their time together. Zia thought it was going to be weird spending time with her boss, but it hasn't been weird at all. She enjoys the time she spends with Ian, where he isn't being Mr. Smith.

"I was thinking, if you're not busy, tonight after work we could go out to dinner?" Ian suggested as he pulled into a parking spot.

"Sure."

"Great, it's a date then," Ian said as he turned the car off and got out of the drivers seat.

Zia sat stunned for a second before undoing her seatbelt as her door was opened.

"Are you coming to work, today I'd hope," Ian joked as he stood next to the open car door.

"A date?"

"Yes Zia, a date. Tonight. Unless you're not comfortable with that?"

"No, no, it's not that I'm uncomfortable with it. But what about what others will think, you're my boss," Zia said as she climbed out of the car.

"Am I supposed to worry about what others think on what I do in my own life? What's the worse someone can do, smack me on the ass and say 'no you can't do that', as if it would stop me."

Zia just looked up at her boss, giving him a weird look as the car door was shut behind her.

"What?"

"Nothing Mr. Boss Man."

"Alrighty dear, let's go get this day started."

The work day went by fairly quickly, with it being Friday it was a more lax day than usual. Fridays tended to be less hectic compared to the rest of the week. Mr. Smith preferred his work weeks to be like that, that way he and his employees are not going into the weekend stressed.

Currently Mr. Smith and his mother, Brenda, we're having a conversation about Zia and his plans concerning her. He despises the fact that she lied to him regarding her education level. Obviously didn't despise him to much since she still had her job. He has fully realized she needs guidance in her young life. and she's not getting that from her own family. Which he doesn't understand.
When he was growing up, he's not that much older than Zia he is only twenty-eight, family was there for one another. they didn't make someone else's life difficult just because they could.

"What are your plans for tonight?" Brenda asked her son.

"I'm taking Zia out."

"On a date?"

"Yes mom, on a date."

"Does she know it's a date?"

"She does. I mentioned it this morning when I asked her. She's concerned about what everyone else is going to think, if her and I are seen together while out," Ian explained while sitting back in his chair.

"Why is she worried about what others think?"

"I'm not to sure," he said as he looked out the windows of his office at Zia. "I'll probably ask her in the near future why she worries about what other people think. That's if tonight goes well."

"Why wouldn't tonight go well?"

"Because of what I have planned," Ian said as he turned to look at his mother again. "Speaking of which, I need to get her home so she can change and so I can also go home and change. Then pick her up again. So talk later? and maybe the both of us can tell you how tonight goes." Ian stood up as he spoke, his mother standing up as well.
