"Family of Zaria Malik?" The doctor asked.
"Yes."
"Follow me please."
The group of eight followed behind the doctor into a conference room, shutting the door behind everyone.
"I am so sorry;" the doctor began as everyone sat down, "we did everything we could but Zaria didn't make it."
The room went completely silent for a second, as everyone processed the information they were told. The silence was broken by Zayn letting out a heartbreaking scream, followed by him repeating the word no. Liam immediately got up and went over to his partner, hoping to be able to console him. Zayd, being the hardass that he is and not wanting to cry infront of everyone, stared at the doctor but wasn't actually looking at him. He was lost in his own world. He felt Luke come up behind him and place a hand on his shoulder, but he didn't acknowledge him.
All of a sudden Zia stood up and ran out of the room sobbing. Ian following after her, not wanting to leave her alone right now.
"Where is Zaria? I want to see her!" Zia yelled as she ran down the hallway.
Ian ran after her, finally catching up to her before she could try and force her way into any of the employee only rooms.
"Baby;" Ian spoke as he grasped Zia's arm, Zia struggling in his hold, "you, you can't see her right now."
"I want to see her," Zia sobbed as she stopped trying to get away.
"I know baby, I know," Ian said as he pulled Zia into his arms and just held her against him. Feeling his shirt get soaked from her uncontrollable sobbing.
Ian leaned against a wall with Zia in his arms, and just let her cry into his chest. He knew that nothing he said, right now, would fix how she is feeling. He just had to let it happen.

The next time anybody was able to see Zaria was two weeks later right before her funeral. Zia and Zayd wanted to have her cremated, so they could have her with them wherever this life took them. Both Zia and Zayd got necklaces made that had some of Zaria's ashes put inside of. While Zayn kept the urn. The immediate family had a viewing a couple of days before the funeral, and that was the last time they were physically able to see Zaria.
A couple of days after that a private funeral was held.
It was a simple but beautiful funeral. Only
Immediate family was allowed, boyfriends and gang members were not allowed.
Luke and Ian were there for their respective partners after the fact though. The days following everyone's final goodbye, was just filled with a sadness. A void that needed to be filled, but wouldn't be.
A week after the funeral, Liam dismantled the gang. There was no one in America to run it, and he certainly wasn't going to. No one in their immediate family wanted anything to do with it anymore. With Niall being dead and the only real threat also being dead, there was no point in keeping it together. Besides all of that, everybody who was involved in the gang had enough money to live comfortably the rest of their natural lives."Wanna know what the last thing Zaria said to me was?" Zayn questioned as he placed the urn up on the mantle of his and Liam's new place.
They decided to move to Minnesota, where Harry and Louis, and Zia and Ian lived. Everybody was gathered in the house, helping Liam and Zayn get settled in."What was that?" Harry responded.
He and Louis weren't even told of everything that had occurred until a couple days after it all went down. It's not that they were purposely left out of the loop, it wasn't on Liam's or anyones mind to inform them."She said 'I'm glad I get to go home', almost as if she knew those were her last moments," Zayn said as he turned to go sit next to Liam.
Liam looked at Zayn shocked that he didn't know about this. "Why didn't you tell me this?"
"I don't know, I kinda wanted to keep it to myself and Zia. Knowing that we were the last two she spoke to. But what good does that do. So I figured I'd share it with the class," Zayn chuckled at his last statement, not liking how the mood of the room has dropped.
Six out of the eight people that were in the room, began talking about Zaria and sharing stories about her. Trying to lighten the mood. While Ian and Luke just sat in the background and listened, since they didn't really know much about Zaria. Only what they have been told by Zia and Zayd.
Some tears were shed throughout the story telling, but it was overall a joyful time. One family just talking about the one they lost.*A/N:
