Baekhyun's POV (5) [23]

I can't believe that Jisoo did this! She work together with my stepdad to make sure that Taeyeon worked with me. She is crazy.

I feel happy when I met Taeyeon back. But, at the same time I don't want mom to find out and hurt Taeyeon! I don't want to lost Taeyeon again.

That's why I keep avoiding her but now Jisoo is trying to get us closer! My stepdad also agreed with her. Ugh.

When I heard that someone knocked on the door, I know that was Naeun. She must be here with Taeyeon. Gosh.. My stepdad glanced at me and smirked.

He then give the permission to get in.

The door was opened and Naeun went inside along with Taeyeon. She's pretty as always.

"Here she is." Naeun say to my stepdad.

He smiled and nod. "Thanks, Naeun. You may go out now." he replied. Naeun nodded and bow.

Then she went out from the room and close the door. Dad ask Taeyeon to sit. Taeyeon just obeyed him. I know that she glanced at me.

I pretended to ignored her and playing with my phone. I acted to smiling alone. My stepdad shook his head when he look at me.

"Why are you smiling?" he ask.

"Chatting with Jisoo." I lied.

Actually I didn't do anything. Just pretend to scroll my screen phone. Acting like I really ignoring Taeyeon. I noticed that Taeyeon look at me when I mentioned Jisoo's name.

Shit, I'm feeling guilty right now.

"So you are Kim Taeyeon? You are beautiful." he praised her.

Taeyeon chuckled awkwardly. "Thanks."

She's always pretty. She is my Taeyeon. Of course she's always pretty.

"I wanna tell you that, you're accepted to work here. As a personal assistant for my son, Baekhyun. You still want this job?" dad asked carefully.

I grunted. "I told you yesterday, dad. She's fail. So why should you call her again today?" I protested.

I saw Taeyeon forced a smile on her face. Sorry, Taengoo..

Mr.Byun rolled his eyes. "Then, if we let Taeyeon go, you want to work alone? Did you see? No one is coming for the interview." he said in serious.

I pretended to rolled my eyes back. "Whatever."

Dad ignored me and look back at Taeyeon. He smiled. "You still want this job?" he ask again.

Taeyeon licked her lower lip and thinking. Why I'm hoping that she will agreed?

Taeyeon then nodded. I try to act like nothing happen.

Dad smiled brightly. "Okay, so you may start tomorrow. Because Naeun suddenly decided to moved tomorrow." he said.

"Thank you so much, Mr.Byun." Taeyeon stood and bow.

"Welcome. Now Baekhyun, you must talk with Taeyeon. Tell her what she have to do. I will go now. I have something to do." Dad stood up and talk to me.

I just humming. Mr.Byun then walked out from the room. Leaving the two of us. Okay, this is awkward.

But, I really loves this situation. Just the two of us.

I stop pretending to playing with my phone and look at her. My heart! Please don't skipped and racing like that.

"Listen here. Yes, you've successfully become my personal assistant. But, no dramas in my company. Or I will fired you. Understand? I'm Baekhyun but I'm different person. Not your dead boyfriend. Got it?"

I feel like I wanna slap my face when I said this. I know, she must be sad and her heart hurts. Yes, it's because of me. Damn you, Baekhyun!

Taeyeon take a deep breath and look at me.

Once again, our eyes met.

"Understood." she answered.

Our eyes still meeting each other. I can't look away once I look into her eyes. Suddenly, the memories of us together flashed in my mind.

I miss being with her. Those eyes, always making my heart racing too fast. Always make me melted. None of us break the eye contacts.

I keep looking into her eyes. I miss her damn much.

I suddenly noticed that her eyes got watered and realized that our body were closed to each other. This position make me remembered on our old memories.

I was about to say something but Taeyeon then hug me again. I love this feelings when she hug me. I closed my eyes, feeling the warmest when she hug me. I wish that I can hug her back.

But can't. I could hear that she's crying. Please my Taengoo, don't crying..

"I miss you." Taeyeon said while crying.

I miss you too. But I only can say it in my heart.

Slowly, I hug her back for the first time ever in two years. I miss hugging her. I didn't realized what am I doing.

Then, I opened my eyes back as I realized it. I accidently hug her back.

"Your mental is weak. You should stay at the hospital." I said.

"Now let me go. I'll be your boss and I want us to keep our distance. For your information, I already have a girlfriend. So I don't want her to misunderstanding about us. I'm a different person, Taeyeon-ssi."

I added and gently pushed Taeyeon away from me. Taeyeon froze. I'm sorry, Taengoo..

My heart hurts when I have to lied at her. I could see her giving me a disappointed look. Please don't look at me like that.

I stay with my cool face.

"Now get out." I said coldly.

She look down before slowly went out from my room. I sat on the sofa and slap myself. Then I grabbed my hair roughly.

"I'm sorry, Taengoo.. I love you and I don't want you to get hurt.." I mumbled.

Tears slowly fall down on my cheeks.
