Chapter 19: What a blessing!

From the annoyed voice of Gren, I can feel the atmosphere is tense. The silence of the party on the other side feels dangerous even to me who is accidentally eavesdropping in their conversation.

Ugh, I don't want to listen to their conversation, it made me feel guilty.

On the other side of the wall, what Lena can't see is that Gren and Bloo look very angry. Everyone except Ryuji and Ares is preparing for combat.

As the atmosphere is getting heavier, a voice of a woman resounded.

"What are you doing?" The vice-president Hailey Froth arrives.

"Vi-vice president" The man who was insulting someone about being dirty blood stuttered.

"I heard everything, I believed that inviting them in an orderly manner is what the President ordered all of you to do, and yet here you are failing to do such a simple task." The strict voice of Hailey made the man and his companions felt silent.

"Forgive us, Vice-president." All three men, bowed as they apologized to Hailey.

"I believed that it is not me you're supposed to apologize to."

"Forgive us, dear guests." All three men bowed to the side of Glen.

"And forgive me for calling you in such an insulting manner." The man who insulted Ryuji apologized for insulting him.

"Well, it doesn't matter really. Just finish your business because I have things to do." Ryuji said.

"Ryuji, you don't have anything to do." Ares added.

"Could you please shut up! I'm making up something so that we will be done already with this thing. All you need to do is support what I say!" Ryuji said in an angry voice.

"Ryuji, if you're going to make a lie, at least make it believable, sheesh." Glen said while looking at Ryuji in a disbelieving look.

"Yeah" Bloo added.

"Grrr!" Ryuji growled angrily.

"All three of you will be in the disciplinary for three days, I hope you reflect on your mistakes. Hailey said firmly as she dismissed the three men.

"Forgive me for such unsightly behavior of my juniors. They are still ignorant but they are not excused for the attitude that they have shown you. They will be disciplined accordingly." Hailey said as she bowed.

"It's ok, it seems that we must meet the president for certain rules for people who are awakened like us, but I hope that this will not take too much time." Ares responded.

"Of course."

"Then please, lead the way." Ares added.

The remaining people have left, and Lena is still stuck in the bathroom. It would certainly be awkward if I called out now.

A few moments later, outside the C.R., a click sound resounded.

"Oh, Lena! I'm sorry, I nearly forgot you. Thankfully, I remember it when talking to my friend hahaha." Qita said as she munches some chips in her mouth.

"You, how could you forget me." Lena pinches her cheeks as revenge, but not strong enough to hurt her friend.

"Sowwwy" Qita added while her cheeks are still being pinched.

Lena accepted her apology and talk on the way to their clubs. As an additional apology, Qita gives Lena a bag of assorted chocolate wafers which Lena likes.

When both have arrived in their separate path, they say their goodbyes and proceed to their own clubs.

The performance of Lena's juniors was successful; thus, they have their own celebration in their club room. There are also submission forms of students, it's not a lot but compared to last year, this is an improvement.

It's not that the music club sucks, but there is a lot of variety of clubs that students choose from.

Clubs are dismissed around 2 p.m. and expected to return to each class.

It was supposed to be the adviser's time, but a meeting suddenly happens, leaving us students to have time for ourselves.

Looking at the seat beside me, Ares hasn't returned. I guess they have important things to discuss with their 'situation'.

"Hey Xash, let's meet in the town of beginnings, I need to do something for a quest." Von, one of my classmates that is seated behind me said. He has brown hair and yellow eyes and wears glasses.

Von looks like reading something in his phone while talking to Xash.

Beside him is Xash who was stretching after a nap. He has black hair with golden eyes. His skin is tan, and you can see that from his toned body that he works out.

"Eh, I thought you said you will help me get an item in the boss, Von." Eraine, a female classmate with a boy cut. She has black hair with violet tips. Her eyes are also colored violet. She acts like a gangster but she's kind if you know her enough.

"I really need to do it since it's time-limited, also it will be fast to do it too." Von replied.

"Oh, then let's go after you've done it!" Eraine said while smiling. You can see the small fang in her teeth as she smiled.

"What are you playing Eraine?" Lena asks.

"We're playing Tale of Odes Online. Oh, are you playing it too!? Let's party!" Eraine asks me with hyped energy.

"Tales of Odes Online? What's the game all about?"

"What!?" All three of them say in unison.

Eraine, Von, and Xash look at me with shock from my words. What? Did I say something wrong?

"Did you not know? Tales of Odes Online is the first VMMORPG introduced in the entire history!" Von said with passion.

"Not only that, but it also feels like the real world too! There are a lot of beautiful sceneries! Even if you're not a gamer, most people go to Tales of Odes Online for vacation." Eraine added.

"You can even use your five senses there too! And even earn money through selling items and equipments from the game!"

"Wow! Why have I never heard of such thing!" Lena said with sparkling eyes.

Even in my past life, I like playing MMORPG games. It's enjoyable when exploring different lands, domains, and dungeons. This is the dream of every gamer!

"Seriously, what cave have you been living with Lena? This game has been released for a year already. It's shocking you never heard of it" Xash asks.

"I know! How can I not know it! It really sounds so fun! Maybe I'll try it too!" Lena added. I read many manga's, manhua's, manhwa's, and novels about virtual reality games because the concept alone is fun, and here I am given the opportunity to experience it!
