'If I remember correctly, the staff pointed out that this hallway leads to the exit.'

There are a noticeable two gargoyle statues at the entrance of the hallway.

Lena looks at it with admiration and then walks into the empty hallway.

In it, only the echoes of every step she stepped in and the flapping of wings of the two ravens can be heard.

Agnis, the fire elemental spirit, and Neoteros are floating and follow Lena carefully.

After talking with Kaylus, both went separate ways and bid farewell to each other.

'Kaylus said that she will clear the misunderstanding, thank goodness that she is not that angry with the mistaken identity thing'

Lena looks at the drunken state of Neoteros.

The noisy ball of fluff and nightmare is quiet, making Lena feel worried and missed the usual jump scares.

'Wait, should I really the heart-stopping jump scares every time I didn't expect Neoteros to appear??' Lena thought as she recalls how she keeps getting jump scared even when Neoteros didn't mean it.

"Don't worry, Neoteros will be lively again after a rest" Agnis said seeing how Lena looks worried.

"Thank you. Oh, there's the exit door."

A big sign of bright exit sign looks very flashy with the Christmas lights surrounding it.

Despite how it looked so wide, Lena was shocked at how near the door was.

'I thought that the door would be far, why didn't I notice this huge sign immediately?' Lena thought to herself.

'Anyways, are they having a celebration or something? This thing looks too out of place in the creepy hallway. It feels like I'm heading towards a trap or something... Well, everyone has different tastes, I guess.'

Lena opens the door and saw the familiar playground near Lena's house.

'Didn't realize that the place is near our house' Lena thought.

Lena stepped outside together with the drunk Neoteros and the ravens.

Agnis is the last person to follow, but before he left, he looks inside one last time.

In Lena's eyes, she didn't see anything in the hallway, but in Agnis's eyes, he saw a terrifying huge spider with a human face and eight eyes slowly crawling at the high ceiling.

The hallway is full of plate-sized tarantulas, that looks like the offspring of the giant spider.

Looking at the ravens, Agnis know they can see it too since he can see the reflection of the birds' eyes but seeing they didn't panic, the raven instinctively knows that Agnis pose more threat compared to those beings.

'Wild animals are sensitive to danger; I wouldn't be surprised that they know whose side to be on.' Agnis thought.

No terrifying spiders dared to come closer with Agnis present. Even though these spiders serve as a guardian, Agnis didn't want something disgusting to come near Lena making all of them create a path as she walks through the hallway.

'It may doesn't mean any harm to them and Lena, and it seems that it serves as a guardian against intruders. Well, it doesn't really matter, I can just burn them away to ashes if they do any funny business towards Lena' Agnis thought as he closed the door shut.

The dry air in the hallway is very different from the fresh air outside.

The moment Lena turned around to see if the door is still there, saw a wall without any door in sight.
