Chapter 48: My three days with you (Part 8)

Cereus P.O.V.

The first memory that I remember is a white room full of different medical equipment.

Toys that are spread all over the place. It is full of such objects but not a single person is with me except for a black shadow.

My body feels so weak that as far as I remember, I have always laid on the same hospital bed for a long time.

I can still remember when I remember the visit of my parents, they only look at me once and the next that I know is their back walking out to the front door. They never came back after that.

After that, nanny Avo came and take care of me, but even if that's the case, why do I feel so... what am I feeling? What is this empty feeling in my heart?

Why am I so sick? Is it because of this that my parents and siblings never visit me?

When I look at the T.V., I saw a scene where a person is crying her heart out.

But right now, she's dead because of me. I am standing alone in a dark place. It's so cold, Allo, my other half, where are you?

Suddenly, a light ray from above comes down and I hear a distant voice.

"Cereus... Cereus... Cereus!" The dead eyes of Cereus lightened up as Lena reaches out to her which she hold tightly.

Lena pull Cereus and escaped to the other side of the portal.

As this happens, the physical body of Cereus slumped next to Lena's body. This action made the people watch in shock as they feel no pulse in the child and the woman beside her.

The black shadow named Allo watched in horror as this happens but the surrounding black air didn't lessen as it looks like getting stronger and stronger.

At the same time, in the abandoned building, the transformed embryos suddenly stop as they felt the changes in their respective hosts.

The people in the area watched in caution as the two transformed embryos stay still in the air.

On the other side, in the slow time of the spirit world, there is Lena together with Cereus lay on the fields of grass.

At the time when Lena pulled Cereus, she out balance herself, making Cereus lay on her chest while she lay on the ground of the green fields.

"Miss angel... Waaaaahhhhh!!!!" Cereus suddenly cried as she kept hugging Lena's body.

Lena sat up and hugged Cereus as she cried. Lena understood what she was feeling since she read her story.
