Chapter 38

In the dark night, Rowan is looking down upon the city of Neo full of blinding lights.

Rowan wears a full-body black outfit like a bodyguard.

He takes a cigarette and lights it up using an unknown force that creates a small flick to the cigarette.

He takes a deep breath and puffs out a cloud of smoke.

The tall tower with a wide rooftop he was in makes his all braided hair follow the wind's direction.

He is alone and has an unreadable face on what he was thinking.

"You know, if Lena and your wife see you smoking, you will surely get an earful." Suddenly a teenage boy appeared behind Rowan's back.

The teenage boy looks slim but under the black uniform jacket he was wearing, he has quite a muscular figure.

His boy-cut blondish-brown hair and green eyes give off gentleness and innocent vibes.

Despite that, his face shows no emotion, as if angered about something.

"Yo~ Kang-dae. Long time no see~" Rowan said as he looks at Kang-dae with a smile.

"Don't Yo~ me Uncle Rowan"

"Ouch! Do I look really old?" Rowan said.

Kang-dae suddenly vanishes from his spot and attacks Rowan with a pink sharp-looking glass in his hand like a sword.

Rowan was shocked by the speed but manage to block the attack by a metal bat that appeared out of nowhere.

With the block, Kang-dae steps back to distance each other. As he steps back, the sharp spear glasses attack the place where Rowan is.

This time, Rowan vanishes. Kang-dae was shocked but calmly look around and realized an attack coming from behind.

He blocked it with a glass shield. The impact is so strong that Kang-dae was pushed back greatly and stopped at the railing of the rooftop.

The shield was cracked and Kang-dae is visible in pain. He is not able to rest as Rowan follow-up an attack on Kang-dae with a swing of his bat.

Kang-dae ducks his head and summons a sword glass and pointy glasses from the ground up to the head that trapped Rowan in place.

Kang-dae stopped his blade to the neck of Rowan.

"Hah hah hah, it's your lost." Kang-dae declared.

"Stupid~ You are 100 years early to defeat me, young boy." Rowan said as he stands on the railing behind Kang-dae and hit the top of his head softly with his bat.
