Chapter 65

The van where the family of Lena rode, arrived at a forest full of vines that cover the sky.

The trees stand tall as it aids to cover the bright moonlight.

The path is dark, but the place is full of fireflies, giving it a beautiful scenery to watch.

In the deep part of the forest, there's a huge shrine gate in it but no shrine to be seen.

Others may think that this shrine gate might be a remnant of an old shrine, but the truth is that it is a gate going to a place where shamans live.

With the talisman already attach to the van, it allows it to enter the gate, teleporting them to a huge infrastructure made of wood and bamboo.

The place looks like a huge modern resort.

Aelius can see that the other shamans and their apprentices waiting for their arrival.

The shamans wear regalias and a headdress that imitates animals. Some wear antlers headdresses and some bird feathers.

Apprentices also wear regalias but don't have headdresses since it symbolizes that one is a full fledge shaman.

Selena looks at Alvin with a worried face, thankfully, with the use of Aelius's power, he is asleep for now.

One by one, everyone exited the van except Goldfish who was driving it, to park.

"Welcome, Obsidian family. We must make haste and deliver the person who is awakening. May I know who is going through the ritual?" The Shaman asks.

"... It's my youngest child" Selena said as Aelius takes out the sleeping Alvin, encased in an orb of gold inscriptions.

The moment that they saw Alvin, the place was full of shocked faces and whispers.

"Everyone, behave yourself!" The Shaman said.

"Madam Obsidian, what is the age of this child?" He asked.

"He's four years old."

"Such young child... We must immediately go to the hall."

"Yes, shaman!" The apprentices replied.

The hall is wide and has a high ceiling. Even though it is made from bamboo and wood, it looks like a huge modern hall with an aesthetic feeling.

The inside hall is surrounded by ten shamans, mumbling something like prayer as they ready the platform in the center for the ritual of awakening.

"Madam Obsidian, please put the child at the center for the start of the ritual."

"I understand" Selena replied. Her children look worried at their youngest.

Since all children of Selena and Aelius experienced an awakening except Lena, they can't help but get worried about Alvin since the ritual will last for a week.

"Please, Mr. Aelius, release your sealings"

Aelius release his sealing and slowly put Alvin on the platform.

The shamans finish their prayers and summon each a talisman to create a barrier.
