Chapter 12: Ohh~ you want to capture this guy, I see

In the dark park that Lena left, a woman arrives after a few minutes.

She wears black tight clothes with a black mask covering her mouth. One of her eye's sclera is color black while the other one is white.

The deep violet color with circle irises brings a mysterious glow in the dark. Like a hunter searching for its prey. Her skin is color brown while her hair that has been tied up into a ponytail is white with light violet on its ends.

She looks around in silence and tried to focus by closing her eyes.

"Hey, are you sure you sense the newborn Skotadi?" A teenager wearing a cute jacket. Its design looks like a Domo character which is the official mascot of Japan's public broadcaster NHK but the difference is that the other eye has an X mark and it looks angry.

The color of it has a combination of white and blue with stitches all over the character design

The man is eating a lollipop and has a look of boredom on his face. His sky-blue eyes and sky-blue hair complimented the thing he is wearing on top with black pants and white shoes.

"Yeah, the newborn gets excited about something for a bit making him reveal his aura and scent but sealed it immediately." The woman said while looking at the teenager.

"The newborn is very talented I see, but we have to find it. If he ever does something unforgivable, even the organization can't save him." The teenager said while chewing his lollipop.

"Let's search on the other area, maybe it hasn't gone too far." The woman agreed and both goes in a different direction in a fast movement making them vanish in an instant.

Lena's P.O.V.

At last, I'm home!

I feel so tired, my siblings have already been asleep in their beds since I have texted them that I'll be late when returning home.

I change my clothes into pajamas and lay down on my bed.

I looked at my phone and saw that it was already midnight. Thank goodness that it's Saturday tomorrow. Sadly, I just remembered that I have to go to school at 8 a.m. for my club meeting.

I'll just set the alarm and sleep for tonight.

*KRIIIING! KRIIING!* My alarm kept ringing making me wake up. I feel sluggish and wanted to sleep but I have to make breakfast for my siblings.

I do my morning rituals and cook for breakfast.

"Yawn! Big sister, good morning." Artemis said with messy hair still carrying her pillow.

"Good morning, I have already cooked the breakfast. I have a meeting for my club at 8 in the morning." I said as I cover the omelet, bacon, and sauté mushrooms with gravy sauce.

After I have eaten breakfast (with rice of course), I say my goodbye to Artemis and go on my way to school.

The school's name is Neo Academy High. The town I'm currently living in is called Neo and this is one of the schools within our town.

It's considered prestigious because of its great facilities and high tuition, some students have a scholarship that helps them to be able to attend this school.

I have arrived at the school and go straight to the clubroom which is on the 3rd floor.

The club that I have joined is the Music club. Even though we are the music club, there are a lot of different clubs about music such as the traditional club that shows folk songs and instruments.

The club that I have joined has focused on getting gigs. And the funny thing is that if it's related to music, whether it's rock, classical, or traditional, the members happily pursue it.

You can say, we don't have a specific focus in terms of music. And if we found a gig, we practice the genre that was asked of us. It was unique and fun as a group, we also got paid so it was worth the trouble.

The meeting has progressed smoothly, and we have decided that we are going to perform an original song as a band.

"Hah, I'm hungry. Let's send this application form to the SSC so, that we can have lunch." A girl in the same grade said to me. She is Aila East.

She has short wavy dark-violet hair, wearing skinny jeans, a black jacket, white sneakers, and an ID.

"Yeah, I'm also getting hungry." I added.

Suddenly, a high pitch voice shouted from the SSC office where we were supposed to pass our application form for approval.

We didn't rush since the event is happening in front of us as we open the door.

"Waaah!!! The cockroach is flying!!!" A mix of voices of a man and woman shouted.

The room is messy and clearly, they were afraid of the flying bug.

"Waaaah!!!" Aila shouted as the cockroach flew near us. I remove my shoe and smack the bug to death.

Everyone sighed with relief, then a woman shouted at me.

"How could you do that!" A girl with long pink hair with a white hairpin. Her light pink eyes have the sparkling effect clearly saying that she's the main heroine.

And yes, she's certainly the main heroine of an otome game that has an anime that the author of this world wrote. When I was a chuunibyou, I was very interested in the romance genre, like hoping someone sweet will court you or something.

Thinking about it makes me want to dig a hole and hide from shame. Well, we have those times, ehem! Anyways, this girl is the sweet and naïve main character.

Back then, I found her adoring, but as I grow older, I realized that the character was too naïve. Realizing a simple logic is even hard for the main character to notice the red flags of someone, thinking that everyone is kind in heart.

"We are afraid of the cockroach, but you shouldn't have killed it!" She said to me.

From what I have remembered, this character was supposed to be shy, but this one is very different. Or maybe I have remembered it wrong since it has been a long time.

"Oh? Sorry, you should have caught it and released to the wild before I have arrived." I said with no emotion. Is this person trying to lecture me something about saving cockroaches or something?

I noticed that she is stealing glances at the SSC president as if gauging his reaction. Ohh~ you want to capture this guy, I see.

I saw another cockroach behind her, crawling through brown books which makes it less visible to others.

"Since you want to save cockroaches, there is a cockroach behind you, you should save it or else, it might fly to me, and I might as well kill it too." I said in a relaxed tone with a relaxed smile.

As I point it, the cockroach flies to her hair. She noticed it too.

She looks as if she was going to cry, she runs screaming outside the room. Her two followers also followed her outside.

Well, I hope you released the bug into the wild child, I thought as the rest of the people inside watch her run into the hallways flailing.
