Lena remembered a distant memory.

A tragic story about a short life of a child.

"Cereus..." Lena speaks out loud about what's on her mind.

"I knew it! You're an angel!" Cereus said with excitement as she runs towards Lena barefooted.

"Miss angel! Did you hear my wish and decided to come?" Cereus asked.

Lena looked at the child who looks cute and innocent.

"Are you talking about me? Or the person beside me?" Lena asked making sure that the child was not mistaken.

Lena thinks that her face is just ordinary compared to Argentum, so she made sure who the child is talking about.

Lena looks at Argentum who is a man but looks beautiful as a woman.

Sorry, Argentum, if you're a t-shirt, I'm sure that you are part of the unisex clothes, Lena thought as Argentum looked at Lena confused.

"Of course, it's you silly! Hehehe. You also say my name! I'm so happy that you are here!" Cereus said with a big smile while pointing at Lena.

"I-is that so?" Crap, why did I even blurt her name out, Lena thought to herself.

"But I'm not an angel. I'm just an ordinary person like you" Lena added.

Lena feels embarrassed that the child called her angel in front of a person who is more angelic than her.

Cereus looks at Lena confused, but she suddenly created her own scenario that she saw on T.V. that amazing beings like to act normally.

The child as if she understands Lena's situation, nods with excitement saying that she understands.

Did the child really understand me? Lena thought thinking that the child still looks at her admiringly.

"Hi! Are you also an angel mister? Are you also an angel too??" Cereus repeated her question with excitement.

"No, but I'm someone who takes care of Mada-, I mean Lena" Argentum changed what he was about to say as Lena looked at him intensely as he nearly said the word, madam.

"Oh, then mister, are you, her subordinate?"

"You can say it like that." Argentum replied with a smile.

Because of that Cereus look at Lena more admiringly thinking that she is someone high ranking angel visiting her.

Please stop looking at me like that, Lena thought as she squints her eyes as if she saw something blinding.

"Anyways, why are you here alone?" Argentum asked.

Cereus becomes silent and looks at the floor.

Lena knows the reason why the child has gone out.

Lena remembered the scene where the child has gone out with a dangerous intention.

Today is her birthday, gifts were sent to the hospital but the fact that neither one of her family visited her makes her even sadder.

In this time of place, she was going to jump on the lake thinking that since she was going to die anyway, might as well use it and maybe her family will come and visit her.

Thankfully, before that happen, her nanny came and saved her in a nick of time.

But this time, Lena knows that she changed the course of the story with her presence. Lena didn't mind and intend to at least made the child feel a little happy on her birthday.
