Going Home and Prom

Indiana's POV

"Faster Jared, Faster!" I cheer as he runs through the forest. Me on his back. "He's gaining!" I shout as I look behind seeing Paul. It's my fourth day on the reservation. I finally got Jared to let me out of the house. We're racing with Paul, well they're racing while I ride on Jared's back. We left before Sam got back from Billy's while Emily was still asleep.

We're having a lot of fun. Until a wolf howl fills the air. Jared and Paul skid to a stop as I pout. "Was that Sam?" I ask and they nod their heads. I groan, fun time is over. Sam howls again and they howl back. "We have to go back?" I ask and they nod. "Race?" I ask hopeful. Paul smirks wolfishly as they prepare the run. "Three, two, one go!" I shout and they take off. I laugh cheering as they race through the woods.

Jared and I won. I hop off and go inside while they went to change. "Where have you been?" Sam asks.

"Racing" I say as I sit at the table.

"Which I won" Jared brags.

"Surprisingly" Paul mutters.

"So why the call?" Jared asks Sam.

"Billy got a call from Carlisle. Then Cullens are back and the tracker has been dealt with. Esme is on her way to collect Indiana" he states.

"Aw, can't she stay longer?" Jared whines.

"Yeah, we were having fun" Paul says.

"She was only to remain until the threat was dealt with" Sam reminds them. "But know this Indiana, while you're still human. You're welcome anytime, just call" he tells me.

"Will do Sam" I tell him. I hug Emily. "Thanks for letting me stay and showing me a few cooking tips" I tell her.

"Don't be a stranger" she tells me. I then hug Jared and Paul. Before Sam took me to the border. Where I ran into mum's arms.

"We've misses you Indiana" she tells me. Before letting going. "You need a bath" she adds.

"Wolf smell?" I ask sheepishly and she nods her head.

"Thank you for looking after my daughter" Mum tells Sam. Who bows his head. Before leaving. We then go home. Where I had about half a dozen showers before I no longer smelt like wolf to my family. Edward is in Phoenix with Bella, but they'll return tonight with her dad.

Tomorrow night it prom and we're all still going. Alice organized a spa trip for us three girls. Rosalie got us limo. But first it's family fun night. We all catch up and have fun.

(Time skip)

We arrive at prom together and I hear someone call my name. I turn to see Tyler heading my way. I said goodbye to my siblings and they went inside. "You look great" he tells me.

"So do you" I tell him.

"I got you something, I wasn't sure what colour you were going to wear. So I got a white one" he states holding out a corsage. I smile suppressing a blush. I offer him my left arm and he places it on my wrist.

"It's perfect" I tell him. "Should we go in?" I ask. He nods holding his arm out to me. I put mine through it. And we head inside. Passing Elena who is talking to a boy with long dark hair. "Who's that?" I ask Tyler.

"Jacob, a friend of her's from the reservation" Tyler tells me. I nod my head. We go inside and get a photo taken together. Before entering the gym.

"So I've never been to a dance before, what do we do first?" I ask him.

"No idea" he tells me and a we chuckle. "How about a dance, then a drink" he suggests. I nod my head and leads me to the dance floor. We dance slowly to a couple of songs before going over to the punch bowl.Got a glass each and had a drink.

Then go to the poker table. "Do you know how to play?" he asks me.

"My brothers taught me" I tell him. We are dealt in and a new game begins. I win. When Emmet grabs me.

"Time to dance little sister" he tells me.

"See you around" I tell Tyler before Emmet carries me away. We dance, then I dance with Jasper before dancing with my sisters. Before we go home. When Edward gets back, we dance together in the living room. Before mum tells me to go to bed. So I changed into my pjs, did my teeth and called it a night.
