Finals and Graduation

Indiana's POV

So it's time for graduation. Due to not having to sleep. I was able to study more as well as raise Luna. I was able to take finals along with Bella, Edward, and the others. I'm the youngest to ever graduate from Forks High School.

We are still having a graduation party at our house. Mum and dad agreed to look after Luna. While I get to be a normal teenager with Embry and my siblings. Yes, I invited Embry and said he could bring someone else. So he'll be bringing Quil.

Jacob had been invited. But Bella uninvited him with a punch after he kissed her without permission. Which resulted her in spraing her hand. Rosalie told her her story about how she became a vampire and got her revenge.

Anyway, we are graduating. Dressed in horrible yellow robes and graduation caps. Mum and dad are sitting next to Embry. Who is holding Luna, who is now 5 weeks old. As Jessica gives her valedictorian speech.

"When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were things like astronaut,  president,  or, in my case, a princess. When we were ten, they asked us again. We answered rockstar, cowboy,  or, in my case, a gold medallist. But now that we've grown up,  they want a serious answer. Well, how about this?

Who the hell knows? This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions. This is the time to make mistakes. Tale the wrong train and get sruck somewhere. Fall in love, a lot.

Major in philosophy, because there's no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind, and change it again because nothing's permanent. So make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask what we want to be, we won't have to guess. We'll know, " she finishes. We all clap.

Our names were called alphabetically. We went onto stage and got our certificates. Shaking the principals hand as the crowd claps. Embry wolf whistled for me. If I was still human, I would have blushed. After the ceremony ended, we had photos before Embry went home to change for the party.

I fed  Luna and burped her. Before handing her to Rosalie so that I could change for the party. Afterwards, Mum and Dad took Luna as the first guests were due to arrive. Embry had sent me a text saying he'd be a little late due to a pack meeting. I asdured him there was no hurry.

(Time skip)

So it's been about an hour since the party started. I decided to check on Luna before Embry arrived. But Alice intercepted me at the stairs. "Alice," I whine as she grabs my hand to take me back to the party.

"Don’t Alice me, you promised 2 hours of being a normal teen. It's only been an hour, " she states. As we reach the last step, she freezes as she is pulled into a vision. As she comes back to reality, Bella joins us.

"Alice, what did you see?" I ask.

"A decision has been made," she states.

"We're not going to Seattle, are we?" Bella asks.

"No, they're coming here," Alice states. I race upstairs, grabbing Luna. I won't let anyone touch her. Embry appears and wraps his arms around me.

"Your family called a meeting," he states.  I nod, and we join my family out on the balcony. He holds me close as I hold Luna.

"They'll be here in four days," Alice states.

"This could turn into a bloodbath," dad adds.

"We have to get Luna away from here," I state.

"No one will touch her," Rosalie assures me.

"Who's behind it?" Edward asks Alice.

"I didn't see anyone I recognized... maybe one, " Alice states.

"I know his face. He's a local. Riley Biers. He didn't start this, " Edward states.

"Whoever did is staying out of the action," Alice tells us.

"They must be playing with the blind spots in your vision," Dad tells her.

"But aside from us, who else knows how her visions work?" I ask. We all knew the answer, but would the Volturi really go this far? Or are we wrong, and it's someone else. But who esle would do this?

"Either way, the army's coming, and there aren't enough of us to protect the town," Jasper states.

"Hold up. What damn army?" Jacob demands. As Embry pulls Luna and I closer.

"Newborns. Our kind" dad answers.

"What are they after?" Embry asks.

"They were passing around Bella's scent. A red blouse" Alice explains.

"They're after Bella? What the hell does this mean?" Jacob asks.

"It means an ugly fight. With lives lost" dad tells them. Jacob looks at Embry and Quil. Both nod.

"All right. We're in" Jacod declares.

"No... you'll get yourself killed. No way" Bella states.

"I wasn't asking for permission" Jacob tells her.

"Jacob. Do you think Sam would agree to... an understanding?" Dad asks.

"So long as we get to kill *some* vampires" Jacob states.

"Jasper?" Dad asks.

"They'll give us the numbers. The newborns won't know they even exist. That'll give us an edge" Jasper states.

"We'll need to coordinate" Dad adds.

"Carlisle! They're gonna get hurt!" Bella exclaims.

"Bella they were born to kill vampires, so sip it" I tell her. "What next dad? " I ask.

"We'll all need some training. Fighting newborns requires knowledge Jasper has. You're welcome to join us" dad tells Jacob.

"All right. Name the time and the place" Jacob tells him.

"Jake, you don't know what you're getting yourself into" Bella tells him.

"Bella, this is what we do. You should be happy. Look at us, working together. You are the one who wanted us to get along, remember?" he reminds her. He and dad finalise a time and place. We'd meet at the clearing early tomorrow morning.

"We need to send Luna somewhere safe" I tell Embry.

"We'll discuss it tomorrow Indiana,  I promise nothing will happen to our daughter or you" he assures me. I nod and we kiss before he leaves with the other two. We send the humans home, ending the party early. Then clean the house and I hold Luna all night. Not wanting to let her out of my sight.
