Falsely Accused

(December 11th, 2006) Indiana's POV

So it's been three months since Renesmee was born and Bella became a vampire. Renesmee is still growing quickly. She now looks to be five or six years old. When she is only three months old. She is very smart and is happy with blood or human food. She still needs sleep like a human and is more fragile then a vampire. She blushes, has a heartbeat and she's gifted. She can show someone images and share feelings by touching them. It's how she communicates most of the time.

How's Luna? Well she is six and half months old now. Nearly seven months old. I mean, where has all that time gone? She crawls now and is learning the walk. Still no first word, but it starting to make actually sounds that sound close to words now. She loves playing with Renesmee.

What else has happened in the last three months? Bella has remarkable self control. She was able to hug her dad and not rip his throat out. He knows about the pack now. But not vampires, he only knows Bella is different. He is ok not knowing everything as long as he still gets to see Bella and Renesmee. Oh and he now dating Sue Clearwater. Seth and Leah's mum. Oh and Bella was pissed when she found out Jacob imprinted on her daughter. I don't blame, I would of been pissed at first too if one of the pack imprinted on Luna. But Jacob doesn't see Renesmee as a love interest, yet.

Because Charlie now knows somethings. My family and aren't moving anymore. At least until we can assure Charlie and Bella they'd always be contact with each other. But It's great, I love Forks. It's home. Besides this meant Embry and his mother didn't have to move either. Bella loves the new house she got for her birthday.

Speaking of Embry, he is now Jake's third in command. With Leah being his beta, only because she is older and had been apart of Jake's pack longer. But Embry is cool with it, means less responsibilities and more time for Luna and I. Jacob and Sam have had a long talk. There is now a truce between the packs. Jake's can go home in La Push whenever they please. But I still have not forgiven Sam, even though he says I am welcome back on the Rez. I haven't gone back, I can't stand to be near him right now. So Embry spends most of his time with me as he to can't stand being near Sam. He is trying to convince his mum to move to Forks, but no luck so far.

Anyway, back to the story. Six of us are in Edward and Bella's now snow covered meadow. Embry, Jacob, Luna, Bella, Renesmee and I. Renesmee is catching snowflakes as Bella catches Jake up on the latest in our research on Renesmee. "Edward thinks that we'll find answers in Brazil. There are tribes there that might know something" she states. As Renesmee jumps to catch another snowflake.

Suddenly we felt like we were being watched. We look up to see a solo figure on a cliff looking down on us. Renesmee clings to Jacob as I huddle closer to Embry holding Luna close. Jacob and Embry growl lowly. "Who is that?" Renesmee asks.

"Is that Irina?" I ask Bella.

"I think so, Irina!" she calls and the figure disappears. "Wait here" she tells us before leaving after Irina.

"Are we in danger aunt Indiana?" Renesmee asks me.

"Of course not sweetheart" I assure her. Bella soon returns. "Did you catch up to her?" I ask her and she shakes her head. We all go home and tell my family about what happened. Dad then went to call Aunt Tanya about Irina. Apparently she had convinced Irina to come reconcile with us. But I guess seeing Embry and Jacob was to much for her.

(Time skip)

It's been three days since Irina saw us in the meadow. We were preparing to go to South America to continue our research on Renesmee. Jasper and Emmett were looking forward to tracking some different prey and strategizing about best methods to use; Esme and Rosalie were planning what to pack. We're taking Luna with us. Embry and Jacob will be coming also. We all plan to be back in time for Christmas and New Years. Then pick up the search again if we find nothing on this trip.

Alice appears with a crystal vase with fresh flowers. I go to ask her what she thinks I should pack for Luna. When she freezes and drops the crystal vase. We all look at her shocked. What had she seen? Edward gasps when he catches a glance at her vision. "What is it, Alice?" Jasper asks her concerned.

"The Volturi. They're coming for us. Aro, Caius, Marcus, the Guard. And Irina" she explains. Bella calls Renesmee over to her as I hold Luna closer. Why are the Volturi coming?

"Why?" dad asks Alice.

"What did Irina see in the woods?" Edward asks Bella, Jacob and I.

"Us three with Luna, Renesmee and Embry" I tell him.

"We were talking" Bella adds.

"Ness was catching snowflakes" Jacob adds.

"While jumping about ten foot into the air" I gasp in shock.

"Of course. Irina thinks Renesmee's an immortal child" Edward states. When Bella and Jacob ask what's an immortal child. Dad told them the story, the history of the immortal children. While I took Renesmee and Luna upstairs. Neither needed to hear that particular story. Renesmee starts to play with Luna while I listen in on the conversation below.

It was decided we'd gather witnesses. To prove Renesmee is not an immortal child or even a pure vampire. That she grows and can keep our secret. When Jacob and Embry arrived. Alice and Jasper left so that she could focus on seeing the future. As she can't see it when the shifters are around. I hope she finds a way out if this for us.
