Edward's Return

Indiana's POV

I'm bored as hell right now. Dad's at work, mum is busy designing a nursery for a client. Rose and Emmet are on a date. While Alice and Jasper are out hunting. So I'm all alone with nothing to do as I completed my homework and have no friends. I was just contemplating going to see Bella when the front door opened.

I get up and go the hall way. "Edward!" I cheer and run into his arms. "I'm so glad you're here" I state pulling away. "I was so bored, everyone else was busy and can't play with me" I tell him pouting. He chuckles shaking his head.

"Let me unpack and then I can take you to lunch" he states. I cheer happily and run up to my room to get ready. I then meet him outside and got into his car.

"So how was Alaska? How are the Denalis?" I ask him curious.

"Alaska was the same as when we left, the Denalis are ok. But the golden girls miss you" he states.

"I miss them to, I can't wait to go back and go hunting with them as a vampire" I state. "We so have to race when I'm turned, I'll kick your butt" I tell him smirking.

"Of course you will, you'll be a newborn. They are all stronger and faster then normal vampires for the first few months of this life" Edward reminds me.

"Wow, crush my dreams about being the fastest vampire in the family" I say pouting and he rolls his eyes chuckling.

"You'll be a good vampire" he tells me and we reach the local diner. He parks the car and we get out. We con inside and get a table. I ordered whatever I wanted as Edward said it was on him.

When I take a sip of my drink I notice he was looking out the window. I followed his gaze to see Bella carrying groceries to her ute. "I dare you to talk to her tomorrow in Biology" I tell him.

"What if I lose control?" he asks me and I roll my eyes.

"You hug me and live in the same house as me twenty-four seven. I think you can handle a small conversation with your blood singer" I tell him quietly. He looks at me surprised and I roll my eyes again. "I am not blind Edward, I see the way you look at her. The same way the others look at each other" I state.

"And your ok with it?" he asks me.

"I'll be sad being the only single person in the house and will get very bored. But I'll survive, I just want you and the others to be happy. She will make you happy" I tell him.

"When did you grow up?" he asks me.

"I can be mature sometimes" I state as my food arrives. "Now hunt tonight and talk to her tomorrow" I tell him.

"Fine, I'll introduce myself tomorrow" he relents and I smile. "Will you ever settle down one day?" he asks me.

"Maybe, if I ever find my one" I tell him. "But that may not happen for years, until then I am happy with our family" I state.

"Good, because no one is good enough for you in Emmett, Jasper or my eyes" he states. I roll my eyes shaking my head. "Stop doing that or they may become stuck looking in the back of your skull" he tells me.

"Sure they well" I tell him sarcastically. "Thanks for lunch, can I go with you to school tomorrow?" I ask him.

"Sure" he says smiling. I finished lunch and he paid for it. We returned to the house to see Alice and Jasper back from hunting. We all start to play games together on the play station. Taking turns to race each other. In the end it was a tie between Alice and Edward. But at least I managed to beat Jasper.

Rosalie and Emmet returned from their date. Mum finished her work and made me dinner with Rosalie. While I watched Emmet and Jasper play Call of Duty. Fifteen minutes later Rosalie called me for dinner. I entered the kitchen to see they had made salt and pepper squid with home made chips & salad.

"Thanks" I say and sit down to ate. I was half way through it when dad got home. He, mum and Edward went out to hunt together. I finished dinner and watched a movie with the other for. Before Jasper told me to go to bed.

So I went to my room and changed into my pjs. I then went to the bathroom did my business and washed my hands. Then did my teeth and went back to my room. To see Rosalie there waiting and smile. I lay down under the covers and she starts to wing the lullaby she used to sing to me when I was first adopted. I fell into a dreamless sleep.
