Fourteenth Birthday and School

Indiana's POV

I was sleeping peacefully dreaming of running with wolves. When I am awaken by my siblings singing happy birthday for me. "Must we do this every year?" I ask them as I look at the still dark sky.

"Of course, it's tradition"  Emmet says smiling. Ever since I told them the time I was born, which was 4:27am. They've been waking me up every birthday at that time by singing happy birthday for the last four years.

I yawn rubbing sleep from my eyes before stretching. The guys left with Rosalie while Alice stayed behind. "Happy Birthday" she says handing me a present. "Go wash up and get dressed. Rosalie will be back to do your make up" she states before leaving.

I go shower and then dry off blowing drying my hair. Then sit on my bed in a towel and open my present. To find a beautiful aqua prom dress and I smile. This year I'd be allowed to go to prom for the first time. I get dressed into black/white crop top and black jeans. Rosalie then came in with a bow shaped present. I opened it to discover a make up kit. She did my make up naturally, despite all the different colors. We then go down for my breakfast. I hug mum and dad before eating the pancakes dad had made me. Usually I only eat healthy food, but on my birthday, Easter and Christmas I'm allowed sweets.

We then all go into the lounge for me to receive my other presents. Emmet gives me his first and I open it to see a portable CD player, with headphones. I smile, now I can listen  my music wherever I go. Jasper then gave me his present, which were new army boots. Hopefully I won't need a new pair for awhile as my feet are suppose to stop growing now. I thank them both with a hug.

Edward then gives me his present, which is a book on the animals of Asia and Australia. "Thanks Edward" I say smiling and kiss his cheek. Dad then gives me his present which is the latest harry Potter book. "Finally!" I squeal as I hug him happily. I love Harry Potter, the books and three current movies. Though I wish they had made the third movie more like the book and that they had put Peeves into the movies. The next movie is coming out in November.

"You're welcome, now open your mother's present" he tells me chuckling. I smile and accept the present from her. I open it to find a Polaroid camera with film.

"Happy birthday dear" she says and I smile thanking her. They all sing happy birthday to me again. Before we take a family photo with my new camera. Then I went outside and explored the forest with my siblings. We reached a creak and I go to cross it but Edward grabs my arm.

"What is it?" I ask him pouting.

"We're not allowed over there Indiana" he tells me and I look at the other side confused.

"Why?" I ask.

"That's wolf territory, we have a treaty with them. That none of our family enter their land" he explains.

"And it includes me now" I say. He nods his head and I sigh. "Ok, lets continue exploring else where then" I tell him. I jump onto his back holding tight and he zooms away from the creak as I giggle.

I sit in Edward's car as he drives us to school on our first day. I'm little nervous about being the only new girl in my class. But at least I would see my siblings at lunch. We arrived and barked next to Emmet's jeep.

We all go out of the cars. Alice and Jasper lead the way to the office. Emmet has his arm around Rosalie. I walk beside Edward trying to ignore all the stares. He grabs my hand and gives it a squeeze. I give him a thankful smile as we entered the building.

We reached the office and were given out schedules. Edward dropped me off at home room before going to his first class. "You must be Miss Cullen, please introduce yourself to the class" the teacher tells me.

"Hello, I am Indiana Cullen and I moved here from Alaska with my family" I say shrugging. The teacher tells me to sit in the only spare seat left. Which was in the middle row by the window. Classes went ok, but I was so happy when lunch came.

"Hey you're Indiana right?" an Asian boy asks me and I look at him frowning. "I'm Eric, the eyes and ears of this place. If you ever need a guide or shoulder to cry on. Just call upon me" he tells me smiling.

"No thank you, I'm sure my siblings and I have it covered" I tell him. Just then Emmet and Rosalie appear. I smile at them as they lead me away from Eric to the cafeteria. Where the others had already saved a table for us. We sit down and Alice gives me a tray of food and water bottle. I give her a grateful smile and tuck in.

We each spoke about our days so far. Then after lunch Alice and Jasper dropped me off at my photography class. Before going to their history class. After school ended I go home with Edward. He and Emmet raced home, but Edward won.
