I awoke with a start. I look around in confusion, what happened? The last thing I remember giving birth to Luna and pain. "Luna" I say and look around frantically. Where's my daughter? Just then dad and Jasper appeared. "What happened? Where's my daughter?" I demand.
"Calm Indiana" dad tells me as Jasper sent me some calming waves. "Luna is fine, she is perfectly healthy. Embry has taken her to see his mother and the pack while you hunt" he states.
"Hunt?" I say confused and I feel a terrible thirst in my throat. I grab it. I then notice how pale my hand is.
"You had Postpartum hemorrhage, I didn't have the equipment needed to save you. You were dying and Embry made the call for me to turn you" dad explains.
"He did?" I ask shocked.
"He loves you Indiana, he couldn't live without you" Jasper tells me.
"I have to see him and Luna" I tell them.
"After you feed, I promise" dad tells me.
"Then lets go" I tell them. I jump out the window and look up at them. "Hurry up" I say and take off for the woods. I hear them follow. I track a deer to a meadow and see a stag. I stop and he looks in my direction.
'What are you doing?' he asks me.
'I'm supposed to be hunting' I say sheepishly.
'What are you?' he asks as he approaches me curious. But cautious. 'You look human, but do not smell like one' he state.
'I am a vampire' I say tilting my head.
'Like a vampire bat?' he asks tilting his own head.
'Sort of, I need blood to survive. But look human. Only stronger and faster' I state. 'May I have some of your blood?' I ask him.
'It will not hurt will it?' he asks.
'Just a sting, like a scratch from a branch' I tell him.
'Then go ahead' he tells me offering me his neck.
'Thank you' I say and cut it with my sharper nails. I drink from him and pull away. 'Thank you my friend' I say.
'I will tell others of you, no need to hunt. Just call and we will come' he tells me. I nod my head in thanks and he galloped away.
"Well that was different" Jasper states.
"Were you talking?" dad asks me.
"Yes, he says I need not hunt. Only call and animal will appear to offer me their blood" I tell them with a smile. "Can we see my daughter now?" I ask. Before they can reply I hear a familiar howl. "Embry" I say and I hear him again. "Embry!" I shout and take off towards him faster then before. I reached a hill top and howl his name.
'Indiana!' I hear him howl. I take off as I catch his scent. I reach a clearing and see him in wolf form. We lock eyes and he freezes.
'Embry!' I howl in joy and rush over. I hug him.
'Indiana, what happened to you?' Embry asks me.
'What do you mean?' I ask him confused.
'Look at your hands' he tells me and I look down. Only to see a pair of white paws. I look at the rest of me and notice a fluffy tail. I growl and try to catch it as Embry laughs.
'I am a wolf!' I yip as my tail wagged.
'Guess this is your gift, no wonder you could understand animals' he states.
'Well it suits me, being your imprint and all' I state and lick his muzzle. 'Do you like?' I ask him.
'I love and I love you' he tells me.
'I love you' I tell him. I hear the pack howl. 'Guess they know' I say and he nods his head.
'Though the eyes will take some getting used too he tells me.
'Red?' I ask him and he nods his head. 'They will change soon to much the rest of my family' I tell him.
'I know, I will just miss your brown eyes. Which our daughter has, she looks just like you' he tells me.
'I want to meet her' I tell him.
'Then lets go' he says and we race home. We are greeted by mum and Alice. They hand us some clothes. We go change in private, before I hug my mum and sister.
"At leas you don't smell of wet dog" Alice tells me and I laugh.
"Where's my daughter?" I ask her.
"With Rosalie, come on" she tells me and leads me inside. I see the rest of my family. I greet them all. Before Rosalie hands me my daughter.
"She's perfect" I state as I look into her brown eyes as she coos happily. Snuggling into my breasts.
"Read her shirt" Rosalie tells me. I frown and notice the shirt Luna was wearing. It said 'turn around'. I do so to see Embry on one knee with a ring.

"Don't worry it's not an engagement ring. At least not yet" he tells me. "It's a promise ring, I promise to love you and our daughter forever. No matter what. And I promise one day to marry you Indiana Cullen" he tells me. "Do you accept my promise ring?" he asks me.
"Of course and I promise to love you always. Along with our daughter and I'd love nothing more then to marry you one day Embry Call" I tell him. He slips the ring onto my right ring finger. It'd go to my left one when he proposes for real. He stands up and I kiss him as my family cheered. I hear his pack howl their approval.
They then left us to be alone. "So how has she been?" I ask him as we sat on the couch.
"Been crying for you" he states. "Wouldn't sleep unless she was in my arms or next to you" he tells me.
"Aw" I say and kiss her cheek. She coos happily and grabs my finger. "She's perfect" I state.
"Just like her mother" he states and pecks my lips. "Movie night?" he asks.
"Of course" I say. He put on Balto as I had missed Family Movie night. When Luna fell asleep I placed her in her nursery next to the wolf plushie Embry had won for me. "Sweet dreams" I say and kissed her forehead. I just watch her sleep.
"Gonna stay here all night?" Embry asks as he wrapped his arms around me.
"I missed her first two days of life, I've earned this" I tell him. He smiles and kisses my cheek. "Are you staying?" I ask him curious.
"I have patrol tonight, though the pack want to meet the new you" he tells me.
"Tomorrow, right now Luna needs me" I tell him. He nods his head in understanding. He kissed me and left. I stay with our daughter just watching her sleep. Wondering how I got so luck to have them both in my life? To have such an amazing family in general?
