Telling Embry and the Pack

Fourth update in two days, hope you all are enjoying the story.

(Christmas Eve 2005) Indiana's POV

I arrived at the Port Angeles airport safely. I grabbed my luggage and caught a taxi to the reserve. As we crossed the border, I noticed something big following us. So I asked the driver to stop. I paid them and grabbed my luggage. I headed into the forest, out of view of the road. "I know you're here, come out!" I call. A wolf I'd never seen before came out of the trees, walking on top of the snow.

The wolf has gray fur with black spots, he looks sleeker than the other pack member. He also has a dark grey nose that sets him apart from the others. I looked into his eyes and he freezes. Something about him in familiar. I then remember the plush toy Embry got me, it looks just like this wolf. "Embry?" I ask and he snaps out of his trance. "Embry, is it really you?" I ask and he nods his head.

I dropped my luggage and ran over to him. I threw my arms around his furry neck. "I've missed you so much" I cry. He wraps his head around me, hugging me back. "I have so much to tell you, but first could you shift?" I ask him as we pulled away. He nods his head and walked away. He came back human in a pair of board shorts. "Whoa" I say and he smirks.

"You like?" he asks as he hugged me. He pulls away shocked when he felt my bump. I smile shyly.

"That's why I'm here" I tell him. I take his hand and place it on my bump and our baby kicks his hand. "Embry, I'm pregnant with our little girl" I state.

"Are you serious?" he asks me shocked.

"Yeah, I guess we weren't careful enough" I say sheepishly.

"I'm gonna be a dad?" he asks. I nod my head. "I'm gonna be a dad!" he shouts and picks me up spinning me around happily. I heard wolf howls in the distance. Guess the park heard his thoughts.

"Embry stop! You're going to make me sick!" I shout and he puts me down hugging me tight. "I'm sorry for not telling you earlier, but I wanted to tell you in person" I state.

"Of course, I completely understand" he assures me. "Man we're going to have a baby girl" he says smiling. "Can I?" he asks gesturing to my stomach. I nod my head. He lifts me shirt and places his warm hands on my stomach. "Hey baby girl, it's your daddy" he says to it. "I can't wait to meet you" he states and kisses my stomach. "So does this mean you've moved back?" he asks me hopeful.

"Afraid not, I'm only here for Christmas and New Years. But I'm working on it, I want my baby to be born here and to know you. And the pack" I state. "Here" I say and hand him photos from all the ultrasounds I've had so far.

"Is this her?" he asks me and I nod my head. "She's perfect" he states. "I hope you can convince your family to move back" he adds.

"So do I" I state. "Anyway, we should go see the pack before they come running" I tell him.

"Right" he says and grabs my suit case. "Hop on" he tells me. I cling to his back and he took  off running. He stops once we reach Emily's. He lets out a whoop and the pack appear with Emily as he put me down.

"Indiana, so god to see you again" Emily says and hugs me. "Sam told me you were here, so I tidied up your room for you" she states. "Oh and congrats" she adds. I smile as the Paul and Jared clapped Embry on the back.

"How you doing?" Sam asks me.

"Aside from being apart from Embry and being pregnant, I'm good" I tell him.

"How do you feel about that?" Jared asks me.

"You both are kids after all" Paul adds.

"We'll figure it out" Embry states as he hugged me.

"Before we talk about that, why did you freeze earlier?" I ask him curious. "In the wood" I add.

"Do tell her Embry" Paul says with a smirk.

"Five bucks she faints" Jared says.

"Guys no betting" Emily scolds them. "Besides lets take this inside, it's cold out" she adds and we all go inside. "Muffin?" she says offering me and I accept it with a smile.

"Do you remember when you were told about imprints?" Embry asks me.

"Of course, Emily told me" I state.

"I froze, because you're mine" he states. I squeal happily and hug him. I knew he was my one. He chuckles hugging me back. "I know, I'm stoked too" he tells me.

"So you're here for Christmas and New Years?" Emily asks me.

"You don't mind do you?" I ask her.

"Of course not" she states.

"But can we keep me being here on the down low? I don't want everyone else to know" I state. They nod their heads in understanding. We spend the day catching up as I stayed in Embry's arms. We had dinner together before Sam went on patrol with Jared and Paul. Embry stayed with me until I fell asleep, before joining them.
