After finding a remote spot where no mortal would be harmed by the bifrost Y/N and Loki called out to Heimdall.

"My friend, take me home," Y/N smiled. In an instant the light of the bifrost surrounded them and Y/N felt her feet lift off of the ground.

Home. Y/N wouldn't dare close her eyes as the bright colours sped by her. She had missed this, the beauty of Asgard. When she looked over to Loki she saw him sulking, not ready to face what was to come. But Y/N pushed the worries aside, things were going to be alright she just knew it. After everything, they had to be.

"Milady," Heimdall gave a slight nod as he took the few steps down and stood in front of her. His golden eyes showed a glimmer of emotion.

"Don't Milady me! It's been far too long!" Y/N walked over to her friend and gave him a hug, the cold armour pressed against her skin. Heimdall had been her friend for as long as she could remember. And even though he scolded her for starting her relationship with Loki, he had come to respect her decision.

"It's been too long indeed. I have kept my eye on you all this time."

"I am glad to have been watched over by you my friend, thank you."

Heimdall looked past Y/N's shoulder over to Loki. "Your father has yet to receive news of your return."

"He's not my father," Loki said bitterly.

"Well, you just had to go and kill the mood by mentioning him now didn't you?" Y/N punched Heimdall's upper arm in friendly jest.

"Come on, love, it will be all right. Let's go find Thor and Frigga. Heimdall, just give us a couple of minutes before you let him know okay?"

"Five. I will give you five minutes."

"Thank you, my friend." Y/N smiled and bowed politely before grabbing Loki by the hand and pulling him along.

Y/N admired the beauty of the halls they walked through on their way to Frigga's quarters.

"I will always be in awe of Asgard and what our ancestors made. Don't you think you'll miss it?"

"No. Trust me, you won't have to miss Asgard for a second."

Loki walked with his hands in his pockets and a frown on his face. His eyes darted around the room in search of guards or worse.

Y/N suddenly started clawing at her throat, gasping for air and stumbling as if she was about to collapse.

Loki bolted toward her and grabbed her arms, "Y/N! What's wrong, Y/N!"

Y/N straightened and stood upright, "Your foul mood is sucking all the air out of the room, that's what's wrong."

"Seriously?" Loki shoved her away slightly, obviously upset. "You think this is funny? We're about to be thrown in prison Y/N. You're naïve if you think anything different."

Y/N walked over and took him by the shoulders, letting her hands glide over his arms before interlocking her fingers with his. "I'm sorry, that wasn't funny. But I do believe Odin might see the error of his way. We beat him at his own game, we're free." She tried to smile but Loki's raising eyebrow stopped her.

"You are stupidly and adorably naïve you know that?"

"I do," she smiled. "But you love me anyway."

Before they could turn the corner they heard the marching steps of several guards.

"Did I not tell you he would imprison us?" Loki said as green light encased his hands before two daggers appeared in them.

"I truly was under the impression Odin would have been wiser than this. Let's go without a fight."
