"Trinity, what do you think? Do you agree with the plan?" Tamara asked. I can't utter a word. I can't think straight, my mind is preoccupied.
"If all of you are playing with me, please stop it," giit ko sa kanila.
"Walang dahilan para ikaw ay aking lokohin, mahal ko." Marshall.
"I ain't playing games, my love. You are really my wife." Samuel.
"I won't waste my time in this if you weren't that important. I assure you I am really your husband, Trinity." Hullian.
"I only want my husband back. The real one!" mariing wika ko habang tuluyan nang pumapatak sa pisngi ko ang mga luhang namuo sa mata ko. Nilapitan ako ni Dra. Tamara.
"Trinity, don't be too hard on yourself. You're still not in good condition. Don't worry, we'll found out who's your real husband soon," she advised, trying to calm me.
I observed the three of them tried to approach me but Tamara stopped them by giving them a hand signal.
"It's okay if you don't want to do what's the pla--" Her words cut off.
"What's the plan?" I asked, she's a little bit astounded.
"We'll put you on one household and you'll live with them until you remember everything and...until your heart remember who your husband is. It was only you who can tell who's the real one," she explained. She diverted her gaze at the three.
"They need to prove their selves and prove their testimony of love to you," she added and diverted her attention in me.
"I'll go with the plan."
"Are you sure?" she asked.
"Yes, I'll take the risk," I respond quickly.
Tumayo ito at hinarap ulit ang tatlo.
"Trinity agreed to the plan. We'll let you live in one household until she recognized who her real husband is," Tamara said to them.
"What? You'll let us live together? W-what if this men can't be trusted!?" Samuel exclaimed while giving the two a benefit of the doubt.
"Ayusin mo 'yang tabas ng dila mo. Mukhang ikaw ang hindi mapagkakatiwalaan," giit ni Marshall habang tinitignan si Samuel ng masama.
"Right! Among us, you have a higher possibility to take advantage on her," Hullian interrupted.
"Then protect her!" Inayos niya ang salamin at lumunok at saka nagsalita ulit. "If you can't trust any of you, then protect her. As a husband it's your job to protect her," mahinahong saad nito.
"Of course I can. Gagawin ko ang lahat para maprotektahan lang siya!" mariing giit ni Samuel.
"I can also protect her. I did since then." Hullian
"Ang mga bagay na kaya niyo ay kaya ko ring gawin para sa aking pinakamamahal na asawa...kahit buhay ko pa ang maging kapalit," saad ni Marshall.
"Stop!" I shouted, kaya ang atensyon nila'y nabaling sa akin. Ilang segundong katahimikan ang bumalot sa loob. "Titigil ba kayo or should I just accept that the husband I married died in that accident!" dagdag ko pa.
Natahimik silang lahat.
"Trinity, calm down. Don't stress yourself too much," she advised.
"They're fighting like I was a toy. It's annoying!" mariing wika ko kay Tamara. "Can't we just look for documents like... marriage contract para lang magpapatunay kung sino talaga ang asawa ko?" "I can't handle them if they're acting like that," I said to Tamara.
"Yeah, for sure we'll look for documents. Unfortunately for now, we can't find any documents na magpapatunay sa kasal niyo, even all your identities...wala. This is one of the rare scenario I've encountered, even the investigators nahihirapan sila sa kaso ninyo. But we are trying our best," saad nito.
Totoo ba itong naririnig ko? Paano nangyari ang mga bagay na ito. Nakakapagtaka at nakakalula.
"For now, Trinity, the only choice we have is keeping you together while we are still looking for answers about your case." Tamara held my hand. "Don't worry I'll make sure you'll be safe," sabi nito. Tumango na lamang ako bilang tugon. Do I have a choice?
"Now gentlemen, do you agree with the plan?" seryosong tanong ni Dr. Tamara sa kanila.
"I'll also go with the plan," sagot naman ni Hullian.
"Okay, everything is settled. I'll see all of you tomorrow," Tamara said to us. "Gentlemen you can now leave. I'll take this moment now to talk to Trinity," saad pa nito kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.
Tamara.
"Trinity, we will start the plan tomorrow. Listen to me..." Hinawakan nito ang balikat ko. "I know this is not easy, but I want you to be strong at this time," wika nito.
"Do I have a choice? Besides, I can only trust myself right now," saad ko sa kanya. Tumango ito.
"Trinity, you need to take a rest now. If you feel any unusual feeling just call me, okay?" pag-iiba nito sa usapan sabay turo sa telepono na nakapatong sa mesa at nasa gilid ng higaan ko.
"Thank you!" 'yon lang ang naging tugon ko sa kanya.
Ilang saglit pa ay lumabas na ito. Tumayo ako at dahan-dahang naglakad palapit sa bintana. Tumatama ang sikat ng palubong na araw sa aking mata kaya napapikit ako ng bahagya. I used my hand to protect my face from the sun rays. The ring in my hand sparkled that suddenly caught my attention. I looked at it for awhile and slightly close my eyes. Trying and hoping for my mind to remember flashes of memories but those hopes faded; just like my memories.
I felt my tears drip down on my cheeks as the wind of longing embrace my soul. I know it was him; my husband begging and knocking into my doubted heart to remember him.
