Chapter 8: New Girl In Town

     Sasha POV

     Sasha was definitely confused. She was overwhelmed at the idea of another human, right there, the ENTIRE time. She was in shock too, as the human seemed weak and fragile.

     Sasha peaked down below her. She was at the top of the mountains. This Anne girl was still climbing 10 meters down. "You got this, Anne!" She shouts. Anne looked up at her with a tired expression but smiled.

     Sasha wasn't sure where she was going with this.. she just wanted to learn more about the humans, if there were any more. There HAD to be.. or perhaps a whole world of humans she didn't know about. She wanted to learn about all of it.. with a fellow human.

     Of course lying wasn't good, but it was too late now. How could she tell this human she was with the toads? She'd run in an instant.

     Sasha reached her arm out as Anne extended hers. As Sasha pulled her up, Anne practically flew up landing next to her, breathing heavily. "Wow, that was so cool," Anne exclaims. "You're so buff!!" She grabbed Sasha's arm, examining her muscles.

     "Uh... yeah," Sasha says, awkwardly. As Sasha turned backwards, she saw on the mountain was a small village. Huh, there was a village here all this time.. not so far away.. "That's WartWood?"

     "Yeah! My home!" Anne says. "Come on!"

     "How do you expect to get down this mountain?" Sasha asks, cautiously. "I mean, you could hardly get up the first one."

     "Chillax, Sasha," Anne says, waving her hand dismissively. "I'm better at down hill."

     "Didn't you get kidnapped immediately last time?" Sasha asks, crossing her arms.

     "Pfft, nah."

     Anne slowly made her way down the mountain, mostly clinging onto trees. Sasha rolled her eyes as she just started running down the hill, jumping over rocks and other random opticals in her way. As she almost made it down to the ground, she looked up at Anne who seemed shocked. "HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!" She yells.

"JUST TRUST YOURSELF!" Sasha yelled back. As Anne slowly let go of the tree, she started running down the hill. She jumped up to avoid a big Boulder in her way. She reached Sasha, about to run more (by impact) but Sasha grabbed her. "That's enough!" Sasha says, laughing.

"Whoops sorry, Sasha!" Anne says nervously. "But thanks for the help, that was definitely quicker."

"Anytime," Sasha says.

"Well, I better get back to my family. Wanna come with? You'll love the soup HopPop makes."

     "Uhh..." Sasha nervously brushed her hair behind her ear. "If you don't mind, I'd love to see more of your town."

     "I'll give you a tour after I get back to my family!" Anne insists. "We can't let the new girl be alone after all."

     "Okay, if you say so," Sasha says, as she followed Anne back to her house. Sasha was just digging herself a bigger hole every second she kept going with Anne.
