Thursday
Xero

Everyone's attention turned to Kidoh who was all ready for the surgery. He had his blue suit on and even special blue things to go over his shoes. The thing that stuck out the most though was his angry face. It was directed at me.

He clenched his fists and walked over to me. "What the hell did you just say?" He asked me.

I turned to look at Hyein. Then my brother smacked my face.

"Don't look at her! Look at me!" He screamed so loudly, it scared me. I've never seen him so angry.

"Kidoh, you heard me. What I just said is the truth. The twins are mine. They're not yours," I said with as much strength as I could muster.

Kidoh then redirected his attention to Hyein. He stood over top of her.

"You lied to me?" He asked quietly.

She wasn't looking at him though, she was looking at me. Then she nodded her head slowly.

"Are they really Xero's?" He asked.

She nodded her head again. It was as if the only thing she could do was nod.

"We had sex before you two even started going out. It was a mistake," I said to try to get him to look at me and not Hyein.

He held his hand up to me to cut me off.

"Hyein, I want you out of my house by next week. Take everything and move somewhere," he said as calmly as he could.

Then Kidoh turned around to face me. He walked over and lifted me off the floor with his shirt, then threw me onto the couch. I deserved it, so I didn't resist or fight back.

He walked towards the door then stopped and turned around again. He looked directly at Hyein. "I'm telling your mother about this." Then he left.

After a few moments of just sitting there, she finally spoke. "Xero, can you please leave?" She asked me with a bitterness to her tone. "You can leave Yano here, but I want you to leave."

She didn't even look at me. That's how I knew that I really messed up. I messed up badly. So I left.

Before the door could slam behind me, a felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Yano.

"Man, I can't go into the surgery room with her," he said.

"She can go in alone. She's a big girl," I told him.

He shook his head violently. "No, no, no. After all of that, she needs somebody, anybody. Not me though. I can't do it."

I raised my hands in anger. "Then who do you suppose will do it?" I asked, annoyed.

He looked me in the eyes. "Ask Byung-Joo."

I brought my arms back down and stood there for a second. I concentrated on a tile as I thought. Then I looked back up at the kid.

"Joo Joo? Why Joo Joo?"

"Don't you ever pay attention to anything?" He asked in annoyance.

"Yes!" I quickly snapped back.

"Well obviously not! I hate to break it to you, but my aunt is pregnant because you didn't use protection."

My cheeks turned red at his words. He has a good point.

"Just call Byung Joo," Yano begged.

I sighed, "Fine."
