Before Kidoh left for work the next day, he informed me that he's paying P-Goon as my designated driver now. If I need a ride, I can just call him up and he'll give me one. I thanked Kidoh and walked him out of the house.

I'm happy that I have someone to drive me around now. As long as the poor guy is getting paid, I don't really care otherwise.

I called my doctor to set up an appointment at the hospital for an ultra sound to see exactly how old the baby is. Before I go to my appointment today, I want to go see my mother and speak with her about some things.

I called up P-Goon for a ride. "Hey, P-Goon, it's just me, Hyein. I was wondering if I could have a ride. I need to go somewhere." I said. It sounded a bit strange now that I said it.

"Yeah, sure, I'll be right over." He said then he hung up.

I waited for fifteen minutes, then there was a knock on the door. I went to open and saw P-Goon at the door with a small bag. "Hey, P-Goon! Let's go!" I said smiling.

He stepped in front of me. "Not so fast. Kidoh told me that I'll be living with you guys now since I'll be your personal driver."

I furrowed my brows at him. "Okay, so what do you want me to do?" I asked him.

He walked by me and dropped his small bag on the floor to take off his shoes. "Can you show me to my room?"

I shook my head, "no, not right now. I need to see my mother right now, P-Goon."

The man sighed and put his shoes back on. "I guess I'll pick my own room when I get back after dropping you off."

I rolled my eyes and walked out to the car. Why is he being so rude right now? He should know that if I ask him something he should just do it. I don't have time to waste.

I gave him the directions to my parents house. He drove carefully and dropped me off. I thanked him and walked up the porch steps to the house.

I raised my hand to knock on the door, but it opened before I could knock. My mother appeared and wrapped her arms around me. She looked so happy to see me. My mother squeezed me tighter to her. "Ah, Mom, be careful!" I yelped.

She let go of me and looked me up and down. "What's the matter with you?" I rubbed my stomach. "I'm just not feeling too well, Mom." I said.

My mother maid a frowny face. "Oh, my poor baby. I'll make you some soup, okay? Come in." I cringed at the word baby. It made me nauseous inside.

We walked into the kitchen. As my mother gathered ingredients, I stood there and talked to her just like old times.

"So, how are you and Kidoh doing?" My mother asked as she grabbed a pot out of the cupboard.

I hesitated a little. "We're doing fine. It's only been a few days, Mom." I giggled a little, trying to keep the mood light.

"That's good. I've been worried about you. I just have a bad feeling about you for some odd reason."

I didn't know what to say. "It must be mothers intuition," I said. She looked up at me and smiled. Her eyes looked sad though.

"Are you really okay, Hyein? Is something going on that's bothering you?"

I gulped. This is it. I have to play this intelligently.

"Well, there is something that's been bothering me lately, Mom. You see, Kidoh introduced me to one of his friends wives, hoping she would keep me company while he works. The only problem is that she told me something really secretive. Something that only she herself knows and her doctor."
