Diana's PoV:
Today's the last day of the exams. I see everyone getting ready for it; some are anxious, pacing up and down, some are indulging other activities to de-stress themselves. It's to be expected, at least. Not to sound like I'm bragging, but so far I've aced all of them. The last couple of exams for today are History of Magic and Broom Flight, which I know I will do just fine. But, unfortunately, those are also Akko's worst subjects to go through. I need to go find and ask her how she's feeling about today. Truthfully, I haven't really asked her about it ever since the first kiss that we had a few days before. Sometimes it would be me avoiding her gaze and sometimes it would be her doing the same to me. I blushed just by thinking about it but then quickly brushed it off and went to look for her. But...it was quite hard to forget about that moment...

Flashback:

Diana and Akko kissed for quite some time, both of them cherishing the moment. After a while, they eased back out of the kiss, while keeping their faces close to each other's.
They both looked flushed and embarassed, their breaths long and slow. There was a slight awkwardness in the situation; both of them clearly not knowing what to do at this point. Then, Akko broke the silence.

Akko: Wow...

Diana: Yeah, wow...

They stared into each other's eyes, noticing the sparkles in their eyes. Akko started to giggle to which Diana giggled along with her.

Diana: I can't believe I had my first kiss with you, Akko.

Akko: W-why? What's wrong with me?

Diana: No, I didn't mean it like that. I never thought that we would end up in this situation. Not that I don't like it, of course...

Akko: I know, Diana. I'm just joking.

They both smiled and continued to look at the lake, the moonlight shining on it. A comfortable silence ensues, with the occasional crickets chirping rhythmically. After a while, Akko turned to Diana.

Akko: Hey, Diana?

Diana: Hmm?

Akko: I've..actually got something to say. But don't make fun of me about it, alright?

Diana: Alright, I won't.

Akko: You promise?

Akko squinted her eyes, making sure her point is getting delivered.

Diana: My, my...whatever it is, I promise I won't laugh.

Akko: Alright, here goes nothing...

Diana saw determination in her eyes, which by this point, was an iffy thing for Akko. Akko's red eyes met with Diana's blue eyes as she steeled herself. Then...

Akko: Diana, we've known each other for quite some time now. We've had The thing is...I want you to know that you’re important to me, and I don’t take knowing you for granted. You actually made my life a whole lot better. To put it simply, truthfully...I like you. And not just, "I like you as a friend" type of thing. I like you, like...in a big, more-than-friends kind of way.

Akko's face was bright red like a tomato after she finished; those words hanging in the air as another awkward silence continues. Diana stared at Akko, obviously in shock in what she had heard.

Akko: I-i understand if you don't feel the same way about me. I wouldn't like me, either.

With a smile, Diana puts her right hand on Akko's left cheek and whispered:

Diana: Don't worry, Akko. I like you too.

Akko: Oh, I knew it. Of course you don- Wait, what? Did I hear that right? Could you say that again?
