Akko's PoV:
Before going to the notice board, Diana and I made sure to part ways as to not be seen together by her friends and raise suspicions. Being caught together would be the last thing we wanted, since Diana wanted our relationship to be a secret (Not that it matters to me since Lotte and Sucy already knew, but they told me that they'll keep it a secret until Diana was ready). To be honest, it's really hard to keep it under wraps, considering the fact that my girlfriend is a prestigious and erudite young witch and I just want to tell the whole world that she's mine. But, I decided to keep it quiet for her sake. I trust that she'll know when to reveal this to the others.
I regrouped with Sucy and Lotte who were waiting for me near the hallways where, as usual, inquired where I went, to which I simply gave them the usual answer; I was meeting with Professor Ursula. They were suspicious at first, but later shrugged it off. I reckoned that they knew where I was but decided to act dumb about it.
Akko: Come on, let's go check our score!
Lotte: You seem much chipper today, Akko. Are you not nervous?
Akko: Are you kidding me? I'm so nervous that I could barely walk straight. But I'm also weirdly excited to see what I got.
Sucy: Well, that's the end, I guess...
Akko & Lotte: End of what?
Sucy does a dramatic pose, placing the back of her right hand on her forehead.
Sucy: The day that you, Akko is excited to witness her results is the day that this world will come to an end. Her act will cause a massive disturbance through the fabric of time, where entire pieces of the future will be erased. 'Tis the day where the world we know of will be shattered into oblivion. Oh, woe is me~
Lotte & Akko: ........
Sucy: What?
Akko: First of all, wow...that was...weirdly impressive. Secondly, you're really annoying, you know that?
Sucy: Hehe, I know...and thanks.
Akko: That wasn't a compliment!
Akko glared at Sucy and pouted, while receiving giggles from both Lotte and Sucy.
Lotte: Alright, alright, that's enough guys. Now, let's hurry already or there might be lots of people there.
Akko: Huhh, alright...
With that, the three of them made their way towards the notice board. Upon arriving there, they saw other people already swarming the board, trying to look at their results. Akko looked around and, sure enough, saw Diana in the front, along with Hannah and Barbara. After that, they left the crowded area and bumped into Akko and her friends.
Hannah: Oh, look...the rejects are here. Come to look at your results, I see...
Barbara: No need to look at them. We already know how you're gonna fare on the exams, right Diana?
Diana simply sighed and returned a stoic expression.
Diana: That's enough, girls. Remember what I said before? Need I remind you that Akko was the one who made me stay in Luna Nova? Now, let's go. Class is about to start.
Hannah & Barbara: A-alright...
Diana stepped forward, followed by both her companions. Before passing by Akko, Diana gave her a subtle smile and whispered in her ears.
Diana: Goodluck, Akko...
After that, Diana, Hannah and Barbara left Akko and her friends, stunned by what they just witnessed.
