Diana's PoV:

Just a few weeks of being in the hospital, Akko has finally been discharged. After handling all the necessary paperwork, both Diana and Akko got out of there. With Diana's aid, she helped Akko get into the back of her limo. The driver welcomed them both and then proceeded to drive to the academy, where apparently the headmistress is expecting them.

Diana: How are you feeling, Akko?

Akko inspected the bandage that is on her arms and abdomen. She then gave Diana a thumbs-up.

Akko: Never been better. Well, I'm still not fully fine, but I guess I'm handling it alright.

Diana: That's good to know. Sorry I didn't do much at the time. I wanted to heal you, but since we were out of range, I couldn't do much...

Akko: Don't worry, Di. I understand.

Diana held Akko's hands, to which she held it back. They both smiled and looked out the window. The journey was silent but also a pleasant one. After a while, Akko broke the silence.

Akko: Hey, so...does my mom know about this? You know...about this whole incident?

Diana's eyes widened for a bit before replying.

Diana: You mean...Ryuko Kagari?

Akko: Yeah...

Diana: Well, from what I heard, the teachers tried to contact her...to tell her about your condition but it was to no avail. Probably cause she's really busy with her company.

Instead of feeling sad, Akko simply just smiled, gave a small laugh and looked at Diana.

Akko: Yeah, my mom's a really busy woman, after all. But hey, at least I know that she cares about me. Hey, you remember when she came to Luna Nova to inspect the school?

Diana laughed shortly after she recalled the memories of her coming to the academy.

Diana: Yeah, I remembered. That was the time I helped you try to find the perfect gift for her. What was the gift that we got her?

Akko: I believe it was called the Jennifer's Pot, to which when used could bring about a miracle.

Diana: Yeah, that's the one. Apparently it was a long journey to get that gift.

Akko: Yeah, it was hard enough to find that stupid thing. While we were trying to find that, my mom came to Luna Nova to check the school out since she has a large majority of control over the academy. After that, we went through a portal to the main ballroom, to where my mother was in at the time. The teachers were really furious at the time but then were met with resistance from my mom who was really enraged.

Diana slightly shuddered, remembering the scene very well.

Akko: She demanded to know why I was in that particular situation. Since she mentioned the word 'daughter', it wasn't hard for everyone to figure it out that we both are related.

Diana: You had to explain to your mother about what had happened before she apologized to the teachers. It was a really...volatile confrontation, if I had to choose the right word for it.

Akko: Well, everything's been settled. The situation has been calmed down, I got to give my mom her present and I got to know that my mom, in fact, really cares for me despite her busy schedules. We then had a tour around Luna Nova and Blytonbury. After that, it was time for her to leave. Professor Ursula was with me at the time and we both said our goodbyes to her. My mom congratulated and thanked her for mentoring me. But then she got close to her and whispered something into her ears. I don't know what she said, but it did make Professor Ursula slightly aware of her. Either way, I'm just glad that I got to meet her. Who would've known that all this happened because she wanted to see me?
