Spencer James

"Jordan, Simone, Liv, and I will be goin' out to celebrate tonight" Spencer said as he was on Facetime with Pops. Spencer informed him of the news Khalil shared with him and he could not wait to get back to Los Angeles.

"You've come a long way, Spencer" Mr. A said and Spencer agreed. "It's nothing but good vibes going forward" he continued. He then called Angel over and pointed the phone toward her face.

"Dada!" Angel grabbed Mr. A's phone, smiling at her father.

"Hi precious" Spencer smiled at her. "You been listenin' to PawPaw?" he inquired and Angel nodded her head.

"She's been doing good so far" Mr. A said in the background. "Tomorrow she'll be going to the Baker's and spending the next two days with Laura" he explained and Spencer nodded his head.

"That's cool with me, Pops" Spencer said, furrowing his eyebrows as an unknown number called his phone. "I've got to get goin' though. I'll talk to both of you tomorrow morning if not tonight" he said.

"Say 'bye' to Dada, Angel!" Mr. A said and Angel screamed 'no'. "Angel Marie.." he reached for his phone and she started to scream more.

"I love you both!" Spencer practically shouted. "I'll see you soon" he said and Mr. A then hung up the phone call.

Spencer's phone buzzed once again and it was the same unknown number that called seconds before.

"Angel's got some lungs on her" Jordan said as he approached Spencer in the common area. "How was the fam?" he inquired.

"They were good" Spencer answered as he stared at the number on his phone. "Baby girl wasn't ready to say goodbye but I told her I would call back later" he stuffed his phone in his pocket.

"What's it like?" Jordan inquired and Spencer stared at him in confusion. "Fatherhood, I mean" he clarified.

Spencer took a brief moment to think before he began to explain himself.

"Nothing could've prepared me for how I feel about her. The joy I have every time I see her. Your life changes immediately for the better. I love her more than life itself" Spencer said and Jordan smiled.

"It...it makes life worth living for, hm?" he questioned.

"Yeah...it does" Spencer smiled as he thought of Angel. "It's a great responsibility and it's not easy at all. It's harder now that her mom is no longer here. But I know I have to do my part to ensure her life will be great" he explained and Jordan listened.

"And you are from what I've seen" Jordan complimented. "You're doing the best you can...it's all you really can do" he continued.

The two continued to talk about fatherhood and children while waiting for Olivia and Simone to finish getting ready. Spencer pulled his phone out of his pocket to check the time, but frowned when he noticed missed calls from the same unknown number.

"God damn" Jordan mumbled and Spencer glanced at him. Simone entered the common area, wearing a black bodycon and black heels. "You sure you want to go to dinner?" he inquired as he kissed on Simone's neck.

Spencer scrunched his face in disgust. "I'ma go check on Liv. Y'all can go wait in the truck" he shook his head as he exited the common area.

"Liv you good?" Spencer questioned as he knocked on the door. He frowned when she didn't answer and slightly opened the door. "Baby" he peeked his head in, staring around the room.

"I'm just about ready" Olivia said as she sprayed perfume on.

Spencer's eyes were fixated on her outfit. Olivia wore a gray maternity jumpsuit, which hugged her obvious baby bump and curves. Her hair was in a sleek swoop ponytail and she wore natural makeup with a bright red lip stick. "Aye Liv" Spencer shook himself out of his trance and approached her, wrapping his arms from behind.
