Spencer James

*two weeks later*

"Wow. These designs are heavily detailed" Jordan said as he glanced through the final designs of Spencer's store. "How long will it take before it's finished?" he inquired as he handed Spencer back his tablet.

"The least amount of time is six months. Usually the range is between ten to twelve months. But it depends on different factors. I've already went through the approval process so we should be gettin' started on it by next week" Spencer answered as he set his tablet on the coffee table. "I hope to have it complete before the ten month mark" he continued.

"How are you feeling about it?" Jordan inquired as Spencer sat with his thoughts. "Being close to the finish line?" he continued.

"I can't even be excited about what's to come when Khalil is still apart of the team" Spencer shook his head in disgust.

"I hate to hear that" Jordan frowned. "I'm hoping that gets taken care of sooner than later" he said and Spencer nodded his head.

"I'm at that point where I don't even want to investigate shit. Ain't no need to dissect nothin', it's obvious he's been involved in shit against me. I need that nigga gone for real" Spencer cracked his knuckles.

"If only it were as simple as firing him" Jordan shook his head in frustration.

"I wish" Spencer heaved a big sigh. "I'ma have shit figured out before the week is over" he said and Jordan nodded his head.

The young men paused their conversation as they heard footsteps coming from the stairs. Jordan watched as Olivia entered the living room and glanced back at Spencer.

"What's up baby" Spencer smiled as Olivia gave him a kiss. "Where you goin' J?" he furrowed his eyebrows as Jordan got up from the couch.

"Away from you two" Jordan chucked up the deuces and Spencer chuckled.

"I'll holla at you later" he watched as Jordan exited the living room. "We not that bad...right?" he inquired as Olivia sat next to him.

"Jordan's being dramatic" Olivia said and Spencer agreed. "What were you two talking about?" she asked as she reached for his hand.

"Not much. I was just showin' him the final design of the store and then we briefly spoke about the Khalil situation" Spencer pulled Olivia closer to him. "I feel like I haven't seen you all day" he chuckled and pecked her cheek.

"I know" Olivia climbed into his lap. "I've been enjoying my morning workouts and meditations. Not only am I'm gaining energy but I am finding peace while sitting in silence" she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

"I love that for you" Spencer told her and she smiled. "I'ma have to join you one of these days" he mentioned.

"That'd be great" Olivia's eyes locked with his. "I'd love that actually" she smiled once more.

"You've got anything planned for the rest of the day?" Spencer inquired and Olivia shook her head 'no'. "Good. We gettin' out tonight" he said as his hands rested on her sides.

"We are?" Olivia raised an eyebrow and Spencer nodded.

"Hell yeah...we ain't been out in a hot minute. Outside of what we got goin' on individually we've been with our babies" he told her.

"Are you sure that's the best option for us right now? Going out?" Olivia inquired. "You've got a lot going on and we have a newborn-"

"We gon' be good" Spencer assured her. "You and I deserve this moment" he said and Olivia nodded her head.
