Spencer James

"I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't believe you..." Spencer's jaw tightened as he glared at Khalil. "Who offered you the money?" he questioned as he approached Khalil's desk.

Khalil didn't say a word as he clasped his hands together.

"Now you want to sit in silence and not say shit" Spencer chuckled as he sat in the chair across from him. "I ain't gon' ask yo ass again, Khalil! Who the fuck offered you the money?!" he raised his voice, slamming his hand on Khalil's desk.

Khalil heaved a big sigh and twirled his fingers together.

"I want to let you know that prior to what I am about to tell you, all of our conversations have been authentic. I looked at you as a brother and I'm grateful for the opportunities you've given me. I know the shit don't matter now" he began as Spencer glared at him. "I got a phone call from the penitentiary and-"

"I don't need a background story! Just answer the fucking question!" Spencer said through gritted his teeth.

"BH" Khalil answered and Spencer's stomach dropped. "He offered both Ace and I one million each. There's a reason Ace approached you that night at the gas station. There's a reason I wanted Ace to get put onto the business. There's a reason Destiny Wright randomly popped into the picture. It was apart of the plan" he explained.

"Ace killed Chyna" Spencer said just above a whisper and Khalil nodded his head. Spencer felt his eyes began to water but wouldn't dare let his tears fall. "I'm assuming you know Quinten too?" he inquired and Khalil furrowed his eyebrows.

"None of us know a Quinten. I've never heard of that name" he told Spencer truthfully.

"I don't understand this shit..." Spencer glanced at his fingers as he tried to control the rage he'd been feeling. "What do you gain by confessin' this shit to me?" he questioned.

"Absolutely nothin'" Khalil simply stated. "I'm a dead man walkin'. I ain't complete the job" he said as he removed his shades, exposing the bruises and cuts on his face.

"So why not do it now?" Spencer questioned as he glanced at Khalil. "You've got the chance...so do it" he shrugged his shoulders.

Khalil twisted his mouth as his nose crinkled.

"I can't do it...I thought about how the shit would affect yo family. The damage it would do to yo community. It ain't worth it" Khalil admitted. "That's exactly what I told that motherfucker and he sent them niggas out for me" he explained.

Spencer slightly chuckled, in disbelief of what he'd been hearing.

"So where do we go from here?" Khalil questioned and Spencer furrowed his eyebrows.

"We...ain't doin' shit. I'ma let ya friend BH determine yo fate" Spencer told him. Khalil stared at him with fear in his eyes. "And since you ain't finish the job....I want to know who will. I need every fucking detail" he continued.

"I...I gave them our scheduled date for openin' up the store" Khalil said and Spencer widened his eyes. "The plan is to finish the job on that day...around everybody" he stated and Spencer shook his head.

"I need to know all of the routes, hiding locations, weaponry, what cars will be used, and who will be at the event that day. I need all of that in the next thirty minutes" Spencer said as he stood up from the chair. "Don't look at me like an idiot! You done came this far you might as well tell me every fucking thing!" he raised his voice again.

"You have my word" Khalil told him.

"Don't be on no bullshit either. I'm not fucking playin' with you" Spencer glared at him. "And by the way...you and I...we done. On some business and personal shit-"
