Spencer James

•one month later•

"Babe" Olivia entered the guest room with her arms crossed. "You've been in here since 5am, why don't you take a break and eat breakfast with Angel and I" she suggested as she watched him put their son's crib together.

"I'ma come eat breakfast with y'all" Spencer paused from putting together the crib to stand on his feet.

"It's just about ready, we should eat while it's hot" Olivia tugged on Spencer's hand and he stood still. "Why're you resisting?" she questioned in confusion.

"I'ma come and eat breakfast with y'all after I finish this last part" Spencer chuckled as her face dropped. "I'm almost done, aight? I'ma be down there soon" he gently pecked her hand and then let it go.

"Alright fine" Olivia heaved a big sigh. "I'll see you downstairs in five minutes?" she inquired and he nodded his head.

"Five minutes" Spencer held up his hand and smiled at her. He watched as she exited the room and then glanced back at the crib. Just as he was about to sit on the floor, he felt his phone ring in his pocket.

"Hello?" Spencer answered. He frowned when he didn't hear a response and stared at the number on his phone. He then hung up the call and stuffed his phone back in his pocket.

"Look who decided to join us" Olivia smiled as she watched Spencer enter the kitchen. "Your plate is on the table already" she said.

"Thank you, baby" Spencer entered the dining area and pecked her forehead. "What's up baby girl!" he tickled Angel and she began to laugh uncontrollably. He then sat down in his seat and began to eat his food.

"I can't wait for the both of you to move in" Olivia expressed as she watched the both of them. "With baby boy coming, I'm hoping we could make that happen sooner than later" she rubbed on her stomach.

"I would move Angel and I today if I could" Spencer sipped on his water. "It would be a huge financial hit though" he mentioned.

"I thought you had money stashed?" Olivia asked and Spencer nodded his head. "Just use that to pay the rent upfront" she suggested.

"That money is for emergencies" Spencer stated and Olivia furrowed her eyebrows.

"I'm sorry...what?" Olivia stared at him in disbelief. "This is an emergency, Spencer" she chuckled in confusion.

"I just want to make sure the kids are secured" Spencer mentioned as he began to eat some of his eggs. "There's nothing wrong with having extra financial support. I would rather be safe then have them rely on...stupid shit that I did" he mentioned.

"I'm not disagreeing with you, there is nothing wrong with the extra financial support. But the money that you'll put down in this payment, you'll get back as your business continues to thrive" Olivia affirmed. "You and Chyna set up funds for Angel and I'll do the same for our son" she continued.

"Liv that sounds promising to rely on the business but you could never be too sure" Spencer said and Olivia just listened to him. "I'm not paying the remainder of the rent upfront" he voiced.

"Okay then..." Olivia heaved a big sigh. "You could break the lease and then pay month to month until you find another tenant" she suggested as she sipped her water.

"I'll see what the landlord says, Liv" Spencer said, slightly annoyed. "I appreciate you wanting to help but I've got everything under control" he told her.

"Spencer, we're about to have a son and we're not under the same roof" Olivia mentioned. "It's not an ideal situation for a soon to be married couple with a new born to not be together in the same house" she continued.
