I promised myself that I wouldn't push her, after being so sick for the past couple of days I knew that something bigger was happening to her than just a sickness bug. But, how does a husband ask his wife if she's possibly pregnant without setting her off? From what Bryce messaged me earlier she lost her temper with them, it's a push point for her and I'm not going to send her barrelling over the edge twice in one day. Hell, I wouldn't want to see her do that at all.

I've known since the moment I laid eyes on Sky that I wanted to have babies with her and it's been something huge I've had on my mind every day since we got married. Eight whole months ago!

I want the whole American dream, a dog, a big house, money and babies. And I want that with my wife, Sky.

Smiling I walk back downstairs and into the kitchen, only for my easy feeling in my chest to come to a gut-wrenching halt. For the air in my lungs do be yanked out of me in a brutal yank.

From the instant my eyes land on her unmoving limp body my whole world implodes around me. And when my eyes lock onto the blood my mind falls into a pit of darkness and pain.

I howel in anguish as I rush across the room, falling to my knees as I pull my wife's body into my arms. Her eyes closed and her lips parted, dry as pale like the rest of her skin.

I call her name, pleading for her to wake so I can see those ocean blues but nothing happens. The hell I've stumbled into continues to burn around us.

I pull out my phone and call an ambulance explaining to them that my wife is lying unconscious on the kitchen tiles with blood dripping from her nose and around the back of her head. Her already snow-white skin appears paler as time passes us by...

'Does she have a pulse, sir' the dispatch operator asks as he sends an ambulance to our location, rattling off the coordinates and address to our house.

With shaking hands I place two fingers on her neck, searching for her pulse point. Fear wrapping around my throat like a vine of poison Ivy.
