Six of us indeed travelled west to the coast at the brim of the next day. Our traveling group was odd, and we always hid underneath our hoods whenever people were near - Otherwise they would have asked questions where two Skjaldmærs, a Witcher, a teenager and a handsome bard were heading.

Avallac'h kept his appearance under a cape as well when we met him north of Novigrad. I couldn't point him out in a crowd if you would ask me, I have no idea what he looks like. He briefly exchanged word with Visna, which seemed more of an argument than partners who do business together here and there. He did not allow us to come over to him to thank him for his help, instead he quickly opened the portal, and we were on our way – what a weird interaction.

Skellige is much different than the continent. It was colder, the weather changed quickly around here, and I really preferred being inside all the time. The ruins underneath the castle were oddly cosy once we've settled in. We quickly got word to the Queen of the Skjaldmærs that we were safe and in hiding - not even she would know where to find us. She made it clear that this knowledge was lethal and if she was pressed by somebody, she wouldn't able to reveal it, assuring the safety of everybody.

Weghbiorg managed to convince the northern kingdoms of Henselt's treachery with the letter the raven found in his nest and the bear was casted out as their enemy, thrown behind Nilfgaards lines. The war in the north wasn't a threat anymore and the Kings and Queens focused on their common enemy: The South. With each day passing, Nilfgaard moves upwards, but the northern kingdoms will ready themselves. Now they're discussing who should take Kaedwen's throne - A lot of voices whisper the Queen herself should get the right to rule over the biggest of the northern kingdoms. The Skjaldmærs were the hopes of many, and they were respected more than ever.

Visna found the mage called Gideon without the sun stone. We were in Skellige for three days when she had a vision of him, telling her to meet him nearby - The sunstone wasn't needed anymore, he said it should rest where it was until a great danger would come our way.

Gideon of Elio is a good-looking guy that might throw me from the position of best-looking men among the citizens of our little home. I sensed that Geralt might fear that the succourer would shoot his shot at his beloved, but the man only knew of his work (If you ask me Gideon is a little bit TOO obsessed with the Wild Hunt, that man read 83 books in five months - and yes, I counted them all.); He is even more keen on finding the red riders than the Witcher.

Geralt killed a few monsters around the islands of Skellige, getting some coin to get by. Him and Visna were annoyingly cute and made the perfect parents for the child of Elder Blood.

Ciri trained most of the time with Visna and Geralt, but had a few alchemy lessons with Gertha as well. Even I can tell how big her progress is, she is becoming better and better with the day passing and I'm sure she is going to be a great worrier soon - And maybe even be welcomed in the Court of Owls, which was her dream now.

Lathgertha was doing great and had a calm pregnancy. Her owl Nika has grown on me and might eventually take Geralt's position as my best friend (the Witcher is oddly occupied with Ciri's training if he isn't working. Also, he doesn't have much time for me. And even if he did, he rather spent it with Visna, I'm sure of it!).

Rusla and Hertha came when the birthing month approached. I quite liked having them around - even Hertha - they were a fresh breath of air and helped a lot when Gertha went into labour. It was a long and painful birth, but mother and child are well and healthy.

A princess was born far away from her land. We named her Thora, after the Skjaldmær who lead her nation over the sea and settled down at the place what we know as Taalen. If the prophecy is correct, she will be the hero that saves us all from the evil, but for now, she's just the sweetest little angle nobody can get their eyes off.

And me? Well, I'm the proudest father of the world. Whatever it takes, we will keep her safe.

               We will keep everybody safe.
