it had barely been ten seconds. how was the ground already crackling with lightning?
and how were the monsters already in shreds?
"...I see you took care of that issue rather quickly..." muttered the white wolf. the antlered figure paused mid-chop, making a small huh? sound. he seemed oblivious to the sudden massacre he had caused, alongside the overseer.
speaking of which - the horned being dismissed her spear, greeting her friend with a brief nod. the earth beneath her heels was frozen to the core, crackling with frostbite. the shattered bits of corpses, encased in ice, lay scattered around the grass.
oddly enough, her clothes seemed untainted by the creatures' blood.
"now that they are dealt with," the overseer hummed, "we should move away from civilization - closer to Mystic Grove, to be precise. I assume you wouldn't want your home attacked."
"that would be smart," the wolf mumbled.
"well - come on then. we don't have much time."
