um.

since my gf and I broke up, I'm,, going to assume our OCs did too. that means a LOT of my OCs are either divorced / single now

so naturally I'm shipping a bunch of them together because I am VERY bored and also not doing very well mentally-

disclaimer: none of these are really canon rn, just concepts since I'm just playing with character dynamics & how divorces/breakups would affect certain characters.

these are mostly going to be formatted as a bunch of hcs on how they would meet/what their relationship would be like. a lot of these are slow burn & wlw lol

| so Xena didn't rlly take her and Herc's separation that well at first

| like she legit just spiraled into a severe depression. almost ripped her other eye out

| since her kids are all independent adults and don't really need her, and she didn't want to be a burden on them w/ how badly she was coping with the separation, she decided to join the other Deities in the Ether

| just kinda. silently sat in her Throne for the first few weeks as an official Deity, contemplating her existence

| Athansios, Solstice, and Altalune had to drag her out of her Throne and take her with them everywhere bc they were worried she was gonna kill or severely injure herself if left unattended

| Altalune stuck w/ her the most, since Athan and Solstice are like. constantly working and Alta is pretty laid-back

| also Alta's Throne is right next to Xena's bc of the whole Sun/Moon thing so they just spent a lot of time in each other's presence in general

| Alta starts talking and interacting w/ Xena more; eventually she starts to reciprocate Alta's attempts at conversation. later on starts getting more comfortable and follows her around a lot

| Xena starts becoming a common guest in Alta's personal dimension solely bc she's a good shoulder to cry on
and also Alta's dimension is just. rlly cozy

| Xena eventually starts to improve. immediately realizes she's caught feelings for the Moon Deity

| INSTANTLY denies it

| Alta can see RIGHT through her and starts subtly flirting when they hang out. Xena's dense as fuck & also rlly indecisive so she doesn't catch on at first

| a few months later they're chilling in Alta's dimension when Alta flirts. again. and it's just
Xena: ...are you flirting with me???
Altalune: have been for the past few months, but thanks for noticing :]

| Xena immediately has a small crisis but it's mostly just her panicking in pansexual while Alta watches from her bed

| Xena just bounces back & forth between denying that she has a crush on Alta bc "it's too soon" & "but she's rlly pretty and nice and smart and-" for the next few days

| eventually accepts it and leaves a small note + custom hairpin for Alta on her Throne the next day
