| Jilaiya is a tall, muscular young man with a thin waist, broad chest + shoulders, long legs, and visible hip dips. his skin is a sort of tannish, with visible dark circles under his lower eyelid and a beauty mark under his left eye. his eyes are a striking gold with white and red highlights. he has long, fine black hair that almost reaches his ankles, tied into a low braid not unlike Kozbi's braid. there is a piece of hair in the front that obscures most of his right eye from view, tucked behind his ear.
his crown of horns is large, resembling a mix of dragon and antelope horns, which curve back a bit. he has a longer, pitch black skeletal tail resembling a komodo dragon's, and a roughly 30-40 ft wingspan. his wings greatly resemble a bat's, and are often tucked against his ribcage, creating an illusion of some sort of cloak attached to his shirt.
his outfit is relatively simple: all black, sleeveless turtleneck with long black pants and multiple belts, alongside an armband on his right arm, which is tied above his armored gloves that end just above his bicep. |

| masquerade - in which Jilaiya casts a boosting spell in the form of a black masquerade sigil, creating a large forcefield. unlike the previous variant of this spell, this variant boosts all party members instead of just himself. however, he still dons a black mask for the duration of this spell.

| god eater - in which Jilaiya summons his shield, first seen when he fought Hercules. this shield takes the form of indestructible vantablack rings of thorn that surround the neck, waist, and chest, granting a 20% elemental and physical attack buff. no, you cannot just reach between the thorn rings to attack the character; there is a barrier.

| killshot - in which Jilaiya casts a spell in the form of acidic rain/acidic spikes over his opponents. there is a short delay, before the acid falls all at once, stunning and applying the Decomposition effect to all targets.
this also works well with Hercules' lightning abilities; when infused with Thunder, this skill actually causes the rain to explode on impact.
