"You" I mutter.
I catch him once again and his blue eyes meet mine. I feel the same sparks from that same night yet my body stays still as I watch a small smirk form and a dimple come out.
This time he's not on ice and wearing a hockey jersey but a navy blue hoodie and black jeans.
"Why are you here?" I question.
God Rory what are you doing
"A friend of a friend and I'm here with some of my teammates" he answers.
"You?" he asks.
"Friends with the host" I answer as I take a seat on the couch next to him.
Silence greets the space in between.
"I see you got the phone" he smiles while looking at my green 13pro max.
"Yeah- you really didn't have to" I remind him.
"According to a source, you wouldn't have gotten a new phone till next week so I pulled through"
"Thank you" I quickly smile.
The loud music of Gasolina booms through out the house as the lights are now dimmer and more people arrive.
"Do you want to go somewhere a bit more quiet?" he suggests.
To kill me?
Lol just kidding.
"Yeah sure" I answer as I stand up and guide him to one of the rooms of the house since I've been here a few times to know.
I step into one of Parker's guest rooms which he doesn't mind people using as long as they're not doing anything they're not supposed to.
"Yep more peaceful" he says as we both laugh.
The two of us end up sitting on the bed with our backs against the headboard.
"So enlighten me about yourself because I really don't have a clue about you" I speak up.
He sets his drink aside as I still hold mine in my hand "You know I'm just a Google search away right?" he jokes as I nod.
"Eden said the same thing but Google can't tell me everything about you can it?" I say looking at him before taking my eyes away from his.
He shrugs "Figures, you're not wrong" he says as he checks his phone.
"So I never really bothered to search you up to be honest" I say truthfully.
"Ouch" he reacts in a joking manner.
"You said Eden as in Eden Williams right?" he questions.
"Yeah" I answer.
"Her dad works for the Devils"
"Yeah I know"
"So how come I've never seen you till the other night?"
"I'm not a sports person at all and it was my cousin who was supposed to go with her since he's her boyfriend" I explain.
"Oh okay. I was just curious"
"Mhm. That was my first time?" I stare at the ceiling trying to remember if it was.
"Yeah it was my first time watching" I finish since so can't recall anything else.
"Well thank God we won that home game then"
"Yeah...so are you going to tell me about yourself?" I playfully smirk.
"What do you want to know?" his expression matches mine as we hear the muffled sound of the music outside the room.
"Basics First? It'll be like twenty two questions"
