I still don't have it all figured out which is nerve racking on the inside sometimes. I was telling her and Mahina how my parents found out about Jack.

"Who was that Rory?" dad questions.

"A friend" I answer as I take my jacket off.
"I thought you went to the game with Eden and Mahina" mom questions this time.
"I did and then I decided to go out with a friend and eat after the game. He played-well he plays for the Devils"
"What's his name?" he goes on.
"Jack Hughes" I answer before the silence welcomes us again.
"I bumped into him at the game I went to with Eden earlier this month" I add.
Dad nods and mom does too as she's listening.
I sit on the couch while they're still standing in front by the door "Were you guys spying on me?"
"I just got home a half hour" dad mentions.
"I was on the phone when your dad came home" mom adds.
"Right" I smirk.
They definitely were spying on me because there's no way they didn't hear Jack and I laughing outside.
"Kelan mo ba siyang dadalhin dito para makilala namin siya?" mom questions and I start laughing.

"What's so funny?" dad asks while mom looks a bit pissed at me.
"He kinda wanted to meet you guys actually like he was down to but I said that tonight wouldn't be that night" I finish as mom cracks as smile and dad smirks.
"Exactly!" I laugh. "It's just not that night but I'll bring him sometime"
"I'll take your word on that honey" Dad says as mom agrees.
I start making my way to the stairs "Ikaw ah, you're getting too rebellious" mom warns.

I smirk as I make it to my room "Goodnight! I love you parents!" I say from the top of the stairs.
