"So it's media day and breakaway challenge for you today and then the actual game the next day right?" I ask as Jack and I get ready.
"Yeah babe" he answers as he puts on a Mad Happy sweater.
"This is fine right?" I ask showing him the tube top with baggy jeans and leather jacket I'm wearing.
He inches closer to tuck the lose strand of hair behind my ear "It's perfect" he smiles kissing my cheek.
His hands cup my cheeks and our eyes meet.

Nothing can compete with the ocean eyes I love seeing.
"You're perfect that you don't even need makeup at all Aurora" he mutters and I can feel my cheeks get all rosey.
I smile as our eyes never drifted apart "I love you Jack Rowden Hughes" I reply.
"And I love you so much Aurora Rose Santos" he replies leaning into kiss me.
I let him in and I respond holding his wrists before I jolt away because someone's knocking on the door.
"Shit" he jokingly curses.
"Don't tell me you're going to be late for your media day Jack Rowden" Mama Ellen says as she greets me with a hug.
"Mom I promise we were getting ready to leave" Jack talks as he puts on his off white converse.
Mama Ellen gives me a sincere questionable look and I nod "Yes we were getting ready to leave" I cheekily smile as she returns it.
"Dad's meeting us downstairs. He's talking to a bunch of his colleagues while you have your media day" she explains as we leave our room.
"I've never been to something like this" I mention as Jack squeezes my hand letting me know that it's okay and there's nothing to be nervous about.
"TREVOR?" Jack yells out and I see a brunette familiar looking guy.
"JACK!" the guy says back as the two approach each other.
"ZMANNNN" Jack smiles overjoyed.
"THE JACKSTER" he calls as they bro hug each other as if they haven't seen each other during their practice for the skills challenge.
"Ready to head out?" Jack talks first.
"Yeah man" Trevor replies.
"Trevor, this is my girlfriend Rory. Rory this is Trevor Zegras one of my best friends, we did the development program together and he plays for the Anaheim Ducks." Jack introduces us.
I give him a quick hug "I've heard a lot about you" I speak up.
"Really? This man? Talks about me?" he jokes and we both laugh as I nod.
"He texts me almost all the time about you" he speaks up this time and my jaw drops.
"Trevor-"
"Wait no go on" I tease as Mama Ellen says she'll leave the three of us to catch up.
"He told me basically everything. When you two met to the parties and everything. He told me how he asked you out before the NHL posted it on their Instagram" he explains and I can't help but smile.
I look at Jack who looks incredibly embarrassed but I poke his side "You're so cute" I tease as he wraps his arm around me before messing my hair.
"Jack!" I laugh as we break out into laughter.
"Okay the three of us need to head to whatever room they're doing the media before they send someone to look for the two of you" I mention.
"Okay Ma'am" Jack grins as Trevor lets out a chuckle.
