XXXXIV. VEGAS

Jack missed a few games.

And by a few games, I mean a bunch of loses and one win within those few games.

We came to an agreement we wouldn't watch any games but wait for the guys to update us in our group chat.

A lot of it was also him sleeping over at my house which my parents really didn't mind since Jack is recovering.

Eventually he was evaluated and is cleared for the All Star Games which we're headed to right now since it's the beginning of February.

My parents were fine with me going with Jack surprisingly since they really want a picture or a video of Claude Giroux saying hi to them which I hope I get the chance to do.

Jimmy and Ellen are also going to be flying to Vegas for the ASG so that's another exciting thing for the week.

The flight is kind of meh since we had a layover and it made me really grouchy but Jack putting up with me and comforting me whenever he could made it better.

"How do people know where you guys stay?" I ask as we leave the service car that picked us up from the airport.

"I actually don't know to be honest" Jack replies as he helps the security escort me into the hotel from all the fans.

I find it really sweet that Jack's really trying to make sure I'm inside the hotel safely instead of letting security take care of him.

He looked like he about to argue with security too if they didn't listen to him. I love him for what he just did.

"What time are Jimmy and Mama Ellen coming?" I ask as I'm leaning against his side in the elevator.

"Before dinner. Also mom loves it when you call her that" he chuckles.

"Yeah she says it whenever she calls me" I smile.

After getting into our suite the two of us just plop on the bed giggling because we just did it in sync.

"I kind of want a snack" I mention.

"We can ask someone to get us snacks" Jack mentions as he cuddles against me.

"Okay but I kinda wanna go out" I pout.

"There's like a convenient store we passed by" I add.

"Shit I can't really leave because apparently they might need me to go over what's going to happen for the next three days" he reasons as he plays with my hair.

"I can go it's no problem baby. If you don't have security with you they're going to go all crazy maybe" I reason.

"Are you sure? Aurora I have fans downstairs waiting outside or something and I really don't want you to go alone" he talks with concern.

"I'll be fineeeeee" I say with a kiss.

"Okay, call me then when you're at the store" he responds with a kiss.

I kiss him back in response before dressing up accordingly. As I'm on the phone with Jack on my way out a bunch of fans say hi and I say hi back.

"Do they have moose tracks?" Jack questions as I look over the ice cream.

I was already on it before he even asked.

Hehe

"No babe they don't" I giggle to see him smile as he shakes his head.

I grab the chocolate ice cream "Is chocolate fine? I'm getting myself chocolate" I ask.

"I don't mind" he replies.
