[Finals Day]

The Quintuplets entered the school together feeling nervous about the finals.

Miku: Today's the day.

Ichika: I'm worried.

Yotsuba: We did everything we could. Right, Y/N?-

Yotsuba turned around to see that Y/N wasn't following them anymore.

Yotsuba: Huh? Where's Y/N.

Itsuki: They said they're calling Raiha-chan.

Ichika: Now?

Itsuki: Yeah, their phone's out of battery, so they borrowed mine...

They sat around the entrance waiting for a little bit expecting Y/N to come inside soon. The longer they waited, the less patient they got.

Nino: Come on, girls. Let's just go. Y/N wouldn't let us hear the end of it if we were late to our finals, anyway.

Yotsuba: That's true, but...

Ichika: No point worrying, let's just go do our best.

They started heading towards their classes again. The day went along as planned and the girls all headed home after school feeling beat. None of them had enough energy to make it to their rooms and collapsed in the living room.

Yotsuba: I'm so exhausted. I never even feel this tired after running with the track team.

Ichika: That exam sure was something, huh?

Miku: It was difficult, but I think we did our best.

Nino: I hate to say it, but those review sets that Y/N gave us did actually help... Only a little bit.

Itsuki: Well, we should get our results back in a few days, and then Saturday is tutoring day, so be ready.

Ichika: Speaking of... Did any of you see Y/N after school today?

The sisters all looked at Itsuki. She was in the same class as Y/N, so it would make the most sense for her to know.

Itsuki: W-What? It's not my job to micromanage them. But since you asked... No, I didn't even see them leave.

Yotsuba: Maybe they were in a hurry to leave.

Miku: What if Y/N didn't want to see us because they don't think we did well?

Ichika laid on Miku and used her as a pillow.

Ichika: That doesn't sound like Y/N. They've been putting up with our bad marks for months now. I'm sure Yotsuba's right.

They all talked until they fell asleep in the living room.

{Saturday}

The sisters got their exam results back but didn't check them until they were all together for tutoring day.

Itsuki: This is bad...

Ichika: This is the best we could do after how much we studied?

Itsuki scored 199 total. Yotsuba scored 128 total. Miku scored 206 total. Nino scored 151 total. Ichika scored 176 total.

Miku: I guess we really are stupid.

Yotsuba: Cheer up, Nino.

Nino: You need to worry about yourself.

Ichika: Today happens to be tutoring day, too. I guess we're going to spend today reviewing the finals.

The doorbell to their apartment rang.
