Nino: You're here to see Yotsuba? I hate to break it to you, but Y/N and I are the only ones who came. Yotsuba isn't with us.

Ichika: Huh..?

Nino wasn't aware of what happened to Yotsuba and her being in the hospital.

Ichika: Nobody told you guys? Yotsuba passed out at the festival and was transported here.

Nino: Wh-What?!

She looked at me, but I was still feeling smitten, so I didn't say anything.

Nino: Why didn't dad tell us?

Y/N: H-He-

Ichika: I just came from visiting her room. She's doing fine now, but I bet she'd be happy to see you both.

Nino took my hand.

Nino: Let's go visit her, Y-kun.

I was stumbling over my thoughts and couldn't stay cool enough to reply.

Ichika: Actually, since you're here, Y/N, can I talk to you for a bit?

Y/N: O-Okay.

Nino: Fine. I'll let her know you said hi.

Y/N: Thanks.

Nino got the room number from Ichika and then headed off. I was finally able to breathe now that she was gone.

Ichika: What's your problem..? Why are you being so weird?

Y/N: Nothing... It's nothing.

We stared at each other for a moment.

Ichika: Y/N-

Y/N: Ichika-

Ichika: Eh, what?

Y/N: Sorry, you asked first. What are you gonna say?

Ichika: How about we go for a walk.

Y/N: Yeah, sure thing.

We left the hospital and started walking down the street. We came to the same area where the fireworks festival was held way back when.

Ichika: Wow. This place is surprisingly big.

Y/N: Yeah, it is.

Ichika: Do you remember this place, Y/N?

Y/N: Of course. How could I forget? Although, it does look a lot different without all the stalls and so many people around.

There was s couple kissing at the end of an alleyway.

Ichika: Well it's not like there's nobody else here.

Y/N: Let's keep walking...

Somebody in the distance was lighting fireworks.

Ichika: I guess the fireworks aren't gone, either.

Y/N: Think it's students? I guess everyone is excited.

Ichika: It's not like I don't understand, though. I mean, we're in the middle of the school festival. A lot of couples will pop up over these three days, I think. And on the third day, in particular, it will be quite amazing. I thought you might say something like that because you knew about it.

Y/N: According to you and your sisters, I'm not the type who'd get caught up in social trends like that.

Ichika: Oh, come on. It's all jokes, speaking for myself of course. I know you're modest under that hard shell of yours.
