I was surprised to see a call come through on my phone from Maruo Nakano.

**It's never good when this guy's involved. I wonder what I did this time.**

I picked up the phone.

Y/N: H-Hello, sir?

Maruo: Y/N. Apologies for calling unexpectedly, however, I am inclined to inform you of changes to your employment status.

Y/N: What?!- Am I being fired again?

Maruo: Do not jump to conclusions. This change does not concern your position, however, it does affect you. You have been getting paid 5 times the hourly rate, however, you will now be getting paid only four times as much.

I didn't need him to go any further to put together the pieces and figure out what that meant.

Maruo: From now on, Ichika-kun will no longer be under your tutelage.

She let me inside and I took the elevator up. I made it to their apartment and the door as unlocked as usual.

**Hm, I haven't been here in a while. It doesn't feel any different being here than being at their other place as long as they're around.**
