Reincarnated As A Tutor (Quintessential Quintuplets x Reader)

I'm deleting this as soon as the next batch of chapters drop, but it's been a little while since the previous chapter and I think I should explain that even if only a little bit. - RETCONNED

You all entertain me with your comments and responses, so I've decided that I won't be deleting this after all. I'm not only going to leave it up, but I think I'll answer the questions for myself because WHY NOT?!

I said there wouldn't be any more Author's Notes, but it looks like I lied 😄

If you haven't read the different Routes for this story, then let me tell you that they're all unique and don't actually follow the same storyline.
Who would've known that writing 5 different chapters that branch off of the same plot point is PRETTY DIFFICULT especially when trying to make them all different.

Point I'm trying to make is:
1. No this story is NOT discontinued. I'm just experiencing some "Writer's Block" as I work on not only this story, but two others simultaneously.

2. Each Route is unique to itself, and each Route is also written to potentially set up more chapters. That means that not only does a Route have to be different than the others, but it also has to conclude in a way that doesn't interfere with the direction of the entire story.

3. This Author's Note actually will be deleted when the next batch of chapters drop, so don't worry about this filler.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Chapters are coming, it's just taking a little bit. Since I took your time, I'll leave you with some open-ended questions to answer on your own time.

Judging by my writing style, can you figure out my answers to these questions? 

(WELL I'LL TELL YOU NOW!)

Q: Who is your favorite Quintuplet? Why?

A: My favorite Quint is Nino and I'm glad I'm not the only one who is just simply a sucker for tsunderes... I resonate with the "tough exterior, soft interior" archetype of a character because that's how I am in real life. Obviously, I'm not going around name-calling, problem-starting, and drugging people, but I have a very sensitive, protective, and caring side that is hidden by a stoic/tough shell. I'm just simply a big fan of her personality and how much she's grown when compared to her sisters. Nino best girl!

Q: What is your ranking of the Quints? Why?

A: I like all of the Quints, but if I had to rank them it would look something like: 

Nino > Itsuki >= Miku > Yotsuba > Ichika. 

Ichika: Ichika dropped to the bottom of my ranking after what she did in Season 2 and how quick her "redemption" seemed. I just would've liked to see more of it, but I still do like her. 

Yotsuba: Yotsuba is a comfort character of sorts, but I really felt like she was neglected by the Mangaka JUST to come back in the story and have her entire development be told through flashbacks. It made sense, I guess... But I would've liked to see more of her...

Miku: For Miku to fall from my #1 Quint to #3 isn't a knock to her. It just means that the characters in the #2 and #1 spot went up rather than Miku going down. However, if I did have any complaints about her, it's that she was just too pure. I know that makes no sense, but when 4/5 Quints all have personal inner demons they're fighting, I don't think that "Self-doubt" was very unique for Miku considering that all of the Quints dealt with self-doubt. She's adorable, and I'm a sucker for cute things, but she's a little TOO cute.

Itsuki: Itsuki jumped up from #3/#4 on my list to #2 simply because I gave this AniManga more than one watch/read. Watching through the anime, I treated Itsuki sort of like a background Quint when compared to the other 4, but that was just my problem for not being very attentive. After multiple watches and reads, I started to pay attention to something different every time. It was only then that I realized Itsuki checked a lot of the boxes for what I like in characters. Tough, cute, adamant, and sensitive. In my eyes, she combines the different traits of her sisters into one person. Other than Nino, I think Itsuki has the best chemistry with Fuutaro, but not only him, I think Itsuki has the best chemistry with each of her sisters and Fuutaro's family. It's hard not to like her...

Nino: I already explained why I like Nino so much in the previous answer, so I'll spare you all the LONG explanation of why she's always going to be #1...

Q: Who would win if you were to rewrite this Animanga? Why?

A: Itsuki. When I first watched Season 1 of the Anime, I wanted Miku to win. Once I watched Season 2, Miku got knocked down and replaced by Nino. However, after I rewatched both seasons, read the rest of the manga, and started writing this book, my opinion on who deserved to win shifted heavily in favor of Itsuki. In a weird way, I feel like Itsuki being the only Quint that didn't actually "FALL IN LOVE" with Fuutaro made her the most compatible with him. That and she's really the only one of her sisters that didn't have a drastic change in personality when they met him. Now that's not to knock the changes in the other girls, but Itsuki was always the least thirsty of the sisters and supported Fuutaro (or Y/N) in a way that didn't try to change who he was or who she was. She always stuck out her neck for Fuutaro, and likewise, Fuutaro always stuck out his neck for her whenever he could. There are none of the sisters that I "dislike", but Itsuki just really grabbed my attention at the end of it all. I also like her design the best (thought I'd add that...)

Q: What is the first thing you'd do if YOU were reincarnated into this anime? Why?

A: Be nicer to Itsuki when Fuutaro first met her... Sure, she was just as rude as he was, but I as a person have always had a soft spot for females, babies, and animals. Not only is Itsuki female, but she's the baby of the Quintuplets. I don't think I could've brought myself to be rude to her regardless of what she said to me. Long story short: I probably would've agreed to tutor her the first time she asked, so I don't know how the story would change from there. 

If things somehow played out the same way, I probably would've quit that job after my first day dealing with them and getting knocked out by Nino. Fuutaro truly has some strong will to keep going back after that...
