Y/N's Confession [54]

Day one of the 3-day school festival had finally begun. The day started with a pop-idol group performing. The group was made up of some female students at school. One of which included Nino. Yotsuba and I watched from backstage.

Yotsuba: Wow! Nino is so cool!

Y/N: I can't believe she actually joined in... Oddly enough, those girls actually really look great together... Yotsuba, I think we may have just found the next big idol group of the nation!

Yotsuba: Do you really think they can go all the way?!

Y/N: It's possible!

I took out my phone and snapped a picture of them.

Y/N: I think Ichika will get a kick out of this.

We enjoyed what little time we had during the opening show because once it was over, it was non-stop running around for Yotsuba and me.

{Later}

I was stuck running around for a while tending to the needs of visitors and making sure things were running smoothly. I couldn't lean on Yotsuba for support because she was just as busy as I was.

**Where are the Reps from other classes..? Geez, everybody is asking me for help today.**

I continued on my way and hurried to help anybody that needed assistance. There was no real reason to rush other than the fact that I had to be back to class by 3:00 PM.

**Just keep going for a little bit longer.**

As I was running around, I ran into Ichika who was disguising herself as usual.

Y/N: Ichika, you came!

Ichika: Shh! Keep it down!

Y/N: Right... I forgot you were Hollywood. But you're here!

Ichika: It's because I got your message.

Y/N: Cool. Are things gonna be okay at work, though?

Ichika: Yeah. Work was suddenly canceled, so I guess it all works out.

Y/N: Great. I'll see you again at 3:00, then, right?

Ichika: About that... Why did you request that?

Y/N: No particular reason. Just with it being the last school event and all, I thought it'd be nice to get the usual gang together.

Ichika: Huh? Is that it?

Y/N: Yup. I won't force you to come if you don't want to.

Ichika: It's not that I don't want to... I just thought you had something serious to discuss.

**I do. I just can't bring myself to say it more than once, so I need you all to be there.**

Y/N: Heh, serious? What do you mean by that?

She paused.

Ichika: Their confessions are still unanswered, aren't they? Regardless of the response, the longer you wait, the harder it'll be on them.

**You talk like this doesn't concern you, too, Ichika...**

Y/N: I know-

A little boy was sitting by himself and crying. We went over to him and found out this his name was Sho and he had lost his mother. We walked around with him in search of his mom.

Ichika: Hey Sho-kun, were you here with just your mother? What about your father or siblings?

Sho: Papa's at work. My little sister is going to be born soon.
