It had been a couple of days since the celebratory cake feast for the Quints, but I still couldn't get what Nino said off my mind. I was taking a walk to try and clear my head, but the harder I tried to shake the feeling away, the harder it stuck with me.

**Stop, Y/N, get yourself together already... You'll make things weird if you don't relax!**

As I was walking down the street, I found another vendor selling flowers. Since Valentine's Day had passed, the flowers were being sold for cheaper. I had Nino on my mind still, and without even thinking logically, I ended up buying a bouquet.

**Why did I just buy this..?**

I carried it with me as I kept walking. I needed something to take my mind off things, and I was given an outlet. Down the sidewalk, there was a girl walking. Following from an inconspicuous distance behind her was a rough-looking man. It was more than I bargained for, but it was just crazy enough to take my mind off things.

**Is he following her? She doesn't even notice, does she?**

I followed them from a distance just to make sure that he was actually following her and not just going in the same direction. I trailed them for long enough to conclude in my mind that he was stalking her.

**I figure the easiest way to get that guy off of her tail is to make it so she isn't isolated anymore.**

I jogged ahead slowly as to not alert the man, but fast enough to catch up to the girl. I caught up to her and started walking with her, pretending that I knew her.

Y/N: Hey, uhm, F/N! I bought you these flowers for Valentine's Day, sorry that I was so late!

She looked over at me and I realized that it wasn't just any girl, it was somebody I knew. It was Miku. The dead giveaway was her headphones, but for some reason...

Miku: Y/N?

Y/N: Headphones? Is that you, Miku?

Miku: What are you doing here?

Y/N: Don't look back. Some dude is following you.

She turned her head anyway and I stopped her.

Y/N: Here are the flowers I promised you!

I handed her the bouquet and her face turned red.

Miku: Th-Thank you.

Y/N: No, I'm being serious. Don't look back. Just walk with me.

We kept on walking and eventually the man stopped following us. I didn't know for sure if he was actually following her, but in my head I was right. I let out a sigh of relief and stared at her.

**It's no wonder I couldn't recognize her from afar. What did she do to her hair?**

Y/N: Hey, Miku? What'd you do to your hair? Trying to be different from your sisters?

Miku: I don't know what you mean by that.

Y/N: Your hair...

I held her hair. It was a different color than normal. The girls had light-red, pinkish hair. Right now Miku's hair was dark red, almost brown.

Y/N: Nice try, but I pay more attention to you all than you think. Your hair is totally a different color right now.

She stared at me sideways.

Miku: Are you feeling okay, Y/N?

**Whatever, I'll play along, then.**

Y/N: Unimportant, then. What're you doing out here?
